Picturing
An ocean
A beach
A sunset
Two people walking
Hand in hand
Stopping on the
Water's edge
Looking into
Each other's eyes
You have something
To tell me
Nervous
Unsure
Of how you'll be received
Scared of rejection
Can you imagine?
Someday
In the not so distant future
I hope to hear
Those words
From you
Just this way
Can you imagine?
Do you want to?
The thing that seems to
Unbalance you the most,
Scare you even,
Love
Provides the exact
Balance you need
Do not be afraid
Of too soon
Too quick
Not enough time
If it feels right
Do it
Say it
Don't let things
Slip thru your fingers
Don't take for granted
The image of time
Life is too precious
To waste on what ifs
