Chapter 51

Demi's POV

Fluttering my eyes open, I adjusted to the light and my surroundings, remembering where we were. I felt an arm draped around my stomach and turned around to face Serena. She looked adorable, the way her messy hair fell across her face and the way her mouth was slightly open. I could spend my whole life just staring at this girl in front of me. She's simply just beautiful and I wish she would see that.

"Are you staring at me you creep?" Her raspy voice asked and I smiled as her eyes slowly opened.

"Good morning beautiful," I whispered pecking her lips.

"Can I be honest?" she asked and I nodded, "I could do this for the rest of my life."

"What do you mean exactly?"

"You and me, waking up with you in our bed, making breakfast, spending the rest of our lives together. I could do it for the rest of my life."

I smiled softly at her, I love how much she has grown with me and within our relationship. Even if she doesn't want to admit it she has opened much so much in the past few weeks, especially since she found out she was pregnant. I know that there are still certain parts of her that she has kept hidden and to herself and all I can do is hope that she feels comfortable enough one day to open up completely to me but for now I am happy, more happy than I've ever been.

"I love you," I whispered in her leaving soft kisses on her neck causing giggles to erupt from Serena.

I got up from bed and walked into the kitchen in our beach house and made myself and Serena a cup of coffee, "Baby we need to go grocery shopping," I called out to Serena thinking she was still tangled in our bed sheets only to find two arms wrap around my waist and kiss my shoulder blade.

"Can I just say how fricken good you look in my top," Serena said resting her head on my shoulder causing me to blush. "I love your clothes, they feel so comfortable and so you," I said.

Serena giggled kissing and sucking my neck causing soft moans to burst out of my mouth as her skilful tongue worked her magic. "Fuck baby," I moaned and I could feel her lips twitch up into a smile against my neck. "I'm hungry, I'm going to go to the shops do you wanna come?" Serena asked innocently and exasperatedly I pulled her by her hips and joined our lips together. Sucking on her bottom lip I slowly slipped my tongue into her mouth and kissed her with such passion, such lust that Serena moaned in my mouth sending me on an ultimate high at that sound.

"Seriously baby, if we continue we're going to be here all day," Serena said pulling away, her hair rather messy from my hands and her lips swollen. "Fine but you owe me," I said and she winked slapping my ass.

"I want coco pops!" Serena exclaimed in the grocery store and I giggled shaking my head and adding it into the trolley cart of food. "Babe I'm tired," Serena whined and I shook my head at her. It was her idea to come here in the first place cause she was hungry and now she's whining. "What do you want me to do about it?" I asked her in amusement and like the child she is a smile appeared on her face and I knew she was about to do something mischevious as she climbed into the trolley and moved the groceries around to make room for her to sit. "Are you serious?" I questioned amused and she nodded. "You expect me to push you?" I asked even though i very well know that Serena is almost as light as a feather. "Yep," she smiled leaning up to plant a soft kiss on my lips. "You're lucky I love you," I mumbled.

For the next forty or so minutes I pushed Serena around in the trolley going up and down all the grocery isles picking up food and drinks that we would need. "Can we go now?" I asked looking down at Serena who was now covered in groceries, barely making out her body. "Yep, I want coco pops!" she exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes and went up to the register to pay for all the ingredients and once the cashier looked at Serena even she couldn't help but laugh, "You enjoying yourself there?" the cashier asked and Serena shyly nodded a blush spreading across her cheeks and I quickly whipped my phone out taking multiple photos of this idiot in the trolley.

Once we paid for everything we caught a taxi back to our holiday home and instantly Serena had poured herself a bowl of Coco Pops. "I love you, you idiot," I said kissing her cheek.

I got myself some breakfast and took a seat next to Serena on the verandah overlooking the pristine, clear water. "How do you feel?" Serena asked. "I feel good, relaxed." Serena nodded in agreement, "So do I. We've never had downtime together without all the other shit intervening. I needed this, we needed this."

I smiled grabbing hold of her hand in my own and softly squeezing it, "How's the baby going in there?" I asked rubbing her stomach with my other hand and she giggled, "This baby is the reason why I want so much junk food." Chuckling I planted a soft kiss on her stomach, "Your moms are here and we can't wait to meet you in six and a half months!" I said speaking to her growing belly.

"Stop you weirdo," Serena said and I playfully slapped her.

I sat back down on the chair and pulled Serena into my lap and kissed her shoulder blade, "Serena can I ask you something?"

"Anything," she responded.

"What's going to happen when we go back?"

Serena turned her head slightly so she could look up at me and sealed our lips together in a soft kiss. "You and me are going to move in together in our own house. I am going to be there for our family and I'm going to go and quit school," she added the last part chuckling. "I forgot you even attended school," I said. "I've attended school probably two times this whole year and one of those days led me to meeting you so that I would never change," Serena said kissing my lips once again and making my heart speed increase rapidly.

"What about the gang?" I asked.

Serena sighed, "I'm not going to be in it unless they seriously need me or it involves my brothers."

"Serena I can't have you being in gangs and doing dangerous shit and neither can the baby," I said calmly. "Demi it won't be all the time, that I promise. In fact it will be hardly ever."

"And your brother?"

"What about them?" Serena asked.

"What are you guys going to do about them?"

"That is something I don't want you to know," Serena said in all seriousness.

"You're going to kill them aren't you?" I asked, scared at the fact that this could be their plan. My girlfriend could potentially kill her brothers. "Demi the less you know the better."

"Serena I can't believe you would actually kill them, willingly!" I exclaimed and Serena got up from my lap, not saying a word. "Demi, I've killed people before do you understand that?" I looked at her bewilderedly. "I know," I mumbled. "Then you know that I am capable of doing it again, right?" Serena asked. "It's different now and you know it!" I exclaimed. "Why?" she screamed back, anger evident on her face. "Why do you feel the need to be in a gang? Why do you kill people?" I screamed back. "I can't do this right now," Serena said shaking her head, walking inside.

I stared at her as she walked inside and tears spilled down my cheeks. Why couldn't we be a normal couple? I asked myself but I knew the answer. I don't want normal, I want whatever Serena is and can offer me..
