Dangerous

Chapter 18

Serena's POV

"Jacob can you hear me?" I asked and thank god I got a slight nod and an attempted smile from him.

"Come on let's get you to the hospital," I said and Jacob shook his head, "Too dangerous," he managed to say in pain.

"I don't care you're in pain,"

"I'm okay look," grabbing onto me he slowly but painfully stood up and still had that smile on his face, "See,"

"We have to get home somebody saw this play out," I whispered and Jacob nodded as I threw his arm over my shoulder and we slowly walked back home.

Demis POV

Needing to relieve all the stress I had I went for a late night run in Downtown LA. Whilst I was running I heard voices and rather loud noises coming from an alleyway I was approaching. Slowly and trying to stay out of sight, I went a bit closer to the alleyway and saw a group of dark figures and suddenly one of the shadows held a gun up and shot someone.

Instinctively I screamed and started to run straight away as fast as I could and as far away as I could get but next thing I knew I had been caught by two guys who had their hand over my mouth and already carrying me to wherever they wanted me to be.

Serena's POV

Upon entering the house I heard screams coming from downstairs and I chuckled at all the things they could be doing to this girl.

"Sit here alright," I said to Josh and he nodded as I handed him a wet towel and told him to put pressure on the wound.

Walking downstairs I only heard Niko and not Josh, causing confusion for me I walked faster but then I heard a voice that seemed so familiar. Running downstairs I opened the door to see Josh tied up with duct tape over his mouth and a girl with her back facing to me who was tied up as well.

"What the hell?" I snapped at Niko and an evil smirk appeared on his lips as he chuckled, "You're going to love this," he said.

Walking around so I'd be able to see the girls face a wave of shock, anger and fright washed through my body as I looked between the three people in the room.

"Serena?" she whispered and too scared to even look at her I nodded.

"Take a look at her," Niko said and raising my head I looked at Demi's face and saw a few bruises and cuts scattered around her face and neck. As I looked into Demi's eyes it was a look I would never forget, it was full of mixed emotions that just hurt me right in the heart.

"What the fuck!" I yelled at Niko.

"Don't you like it?"

Shaking my head I walked over to Demi and carefully untied the ropes trying not to hurt her. As I looked at her face with all the bruises and cuts I stroked her cheek, "I'm so sorry," I whispered.

Turning around I rushed to Josh's aid and untied him and ripped off the tape and that's all it tok for him to charge at Niko and punch him.

"How dare you!" Josh yelled.

Niko winced in pain as Josh continued to kick him in the stomach. Letting them go I went back to Demi and just held her hand.

"This is hilarious," I heard Niko say even though he was clearly in pain.

"What is?" I questioned incredibly pissed off at him.

"You because you actually felt for her even though it all started off as-," cutting him off was my hand making contact with his face.

"Don't you dare mess with me because you know I will finish you off," I growled.

"You would never finish me off," Niko said and a wash of anger filled my body and lashing out I punched him and kicked him as Josh grabbed on to me trying to pull me back nothing held me back as I kept going and going, "STOP!" Demi yelled which snapped me back into reality.

Falling back into Josh's arms I tried to regain my breath and I looked at the mess on the floor, Niko. Blood was rushing out everywhere and bruises were already appearing. To make matters worse he wasn't even moving.

I looked back at Josh and then at Demi to see a face full of fear and disappointment, I can't believe I did this.

"Demi I'm so-," cutting me off was her running up the stairs.

Looking at Josh he nodded and I ran straight after and as soon as I catches up to her I grabbed hold of her hand, "Please don't run," I said.

"Let go of me," she spoke harshly.

"Please Demi just hear me out," I started but she shook her head, "I don't even know who you are," she said looking me up and down.

That was enough for me to let go of her and sink down to the floor in a heap. She was right who am I?
