Chapter 29

Serena's POV

"Britt I'm not sure that I should've come," I said uneasily.

"C'mon you need to have some fun," Britt smiled, "Loosen up,"

I nodded and followed Britt into the nightclub. The music was pumping and everybody was dancing, usually this would be my kind of scene, I would be the one dancing in the middle of the dance floor with random girls throwing themselves at me but now it seems odd being here, unusually different because I don't want to get wasted and just fuck any random girl here. All I want to do is go back to Demi and lay down with her on the lounge while we watch scary movies.

With Britt still pulling me along we came to a sudden halt and I see that Britt had found her prey for the night.

"Go have fun," she said not looking back at me.

"Yeah, thanks what a nice friend you are!" I called out after her.

Rolling my eyes I walked over to the bar and took a seat and ordered myself a glass of vodka.

"Hi there," a blonde girl said taking the seat beside me.

"Hey," I responded slightly smiling.

"I'm Sara," she said extending her hand out to me, "Serena," I smiled shaking her hand.

"Nice to meet you," she said and I nodded back as I swallowed down my glass of vodka.

"Want to go dance?" she asked and politely I declined her request but this girl would not take no for an answer because moments later I found myself with her on the dance floor.

Demi's POV

Being in bed on a Saturday night all by yourself is the last thing anyone would want to do but sadly that's exactly what I am doing.

I fell down on to my bed and looked beside me and it felt so empty without Serena since most of the time she is here by my side annoying me but also being absolutely adorable.

Deciding on getting up I went to the club that Serena said she was going to tonight. I dressed up and got into my car and drove off. Once I got there I had no clue how I would find her in amongst all of these people.

Moving through the crowd I approached the dance floor and there I saw her with a girl literally all over her.

In a fit of rage I stormed up to Serena and pulled the girl off of her, "Hands off of my girl!"

Serena looked at me shocked yet amused at the sight of this, "Bitch I was with her first," the random girl said and I chuckled about to say a comeback to the girl Serena cuts in, "Shes my girlfriend now please go and annoy someone else,"

The girl obviously pissed off storms off and I turn to Serena and see a smirk playing on her lips and I hit her right on the arm, "Oww," she whined and I giggled, "You deserved that,".

Serena spun me around and placed her hands on my hips and started to move, side to side in a seductive way. But no matter what Serena would do my mind kept playing back to when she called me her 'girlfriend', I know that it was probably just to get the girl to go away but just hearing her say it makes me wish it were true and we were actually in an official relationship but I know Serena needs time to warm up too all of this a bit more before getting into something serious.

"You're beautiful," she whispered seductively in my ear which sent shivers down my spine.

"Thankyou," I mumbled as she had a devious smirk playing on her lips like always.

Then in one swift action Serena turned me around to face her, softly held my face in her hands and kissed me. She kissed me with so much passion and love that when she pulled away she left me wanting more.

"I'm sorry about doing that in public but I couldn't resist your damn lips," she said and I laughed pecking her lips once more, "Its okay,"

We danced for a little bit longer and then we both decided it was time to leave.

"Let me go find Britt!" Serena said and I nodded following her through the crowd.

Finally we walked upon Brittany who was enjoying herself probably a bit too much but nonetheless Serena talked to her a bit and then we left going back to her place.

"Babe I'm just going to have a shower and change then I'll be right down," she said kissing my cheek before leaving.

I walked into the kitchen to find Josh sitting there eating some sort of cereal, "A bit too late for breakfast?" I asked and he laughed, "Never,"

I took a seat next to him and started up a conversation, "How are you going?" I asked and he nodded, Good and you?"

"Good," I smiled.

"What about you and Serena?" he asked and again I smiled, "Really good,"

"I'm glad to hear that," he smiled over at me.

"Yeah it's good," I said more to myself than Josh.

After that we fell into a cone of silence but not for too long, "Listen Demi, Serena, she's probably different to any one else you've dated, she's gone through different stuff and she has and has been living a different lifestyle to many but push all that aside Serena has an incredibly big heart when you knock down those walls that she's guarded herself with and she will love you and care for you like nobody ever would,"

I listened intently at what he was saying and knew that there was a point that he was trying to get across to me.

"She's scared, she's shit scared and she's in love with you and I know she's said it to you before but she's still scared of falling too deeply in love, she's scared of commitment and more importantly she's scared of loosing you and then loosing herself again,"

He took a breath and continued on," The way she looks at you is something I haven't seen since...,"

"Reagan," I finished for him and his eyes widened at what I just said, "Another point helping me here, she told you something that she doesn't tell anybody, absolutely nobody,"

"Just please don't leave her, be patient with her, this is the first time I've seen her this happy in a long long time and you bring that out of her so please be patient with her, I know it won't be easy because nothing with her ever is but it will be worth it,"

He smiled and gave me a quick hug before wandering off somewhere upstairs, I smiled to myself as I replayed what Josh said.

For her I'll be patient, I'll wait as long as it takes because he's right she's different but I like this different in fact I am utterly in love with it.

I ran upstairs to Serena's room and caught her in the middle of putting her pyjamas on, I smiled and pulled her into and kissed her, kissed her with all the love and passion I could.

"What was that for?" she asked once I pulled away and I simply shrugged, "Just because I can,"
