Chapter 4

Demi's POV

I walked into the school with Sugar and Max on either sides of me, I walked through to the office without causing too much chaos and then I was directed to a classroom which held the seniors. As I entered the room I was greeted by a bunch of students with big smiles on their faces and a few who I'm guessing were Lovatics just flat out freaking out

"Everyone sit down and be respectful to Miss Lovato," the teacher spoke to the class

"Well hey guys and you can call me Demi," I said and a few girls squealed

I laughed at them, god my Lovatics are funny

"I came here to talk about multiple things but first I wanted to ask some questions and I want you to be as honest as you can,"

As I was about to start four kids walked into the room, the smoke hanging on their bodies and mouth filling the room, they all started laughing at something and then the teacher walked up to them

"You don't get to walk in here late and then interrupt this class," the teacher yelled at them

The teacher continued talking to then and finally dismissed them, as they walked to their seats and sat down it was the girl that kept bumping into me, we both stared into each other's eyes for a moment until her friend tapped her on the shoulder and ruined the moment.. Oh god what moment? I've lost it

I continued my talk to the students and once I had finished I took photos and signed cd's, posters, shoes and whatever else they gave to me. After that the teacher escorted me to the hall where the whole school would be listening to me sing a couple of songs. I went on to the stage and the crowd erupted in cheers, I smiled and started singing 'Skyscraper'

Serena's POV

It's weird to say I've met Demi Lovato before and not on the best of terms but I don't think of her as a celebrity I think of her as a normal person an amazing person may I add.. I look at her on stage as she's singing and she looks amazing, so strong and beautiful

"So why the hell are you smiling that big?" Jacob asked

"Nothing, nothing," I said reassuring him but probably needing to reassure myself more

What the hell, why am I smiling? I mentally slapped myself and told myself too get a grip. I'm a bad girl and she's a good girl, I'm a player and she's not

I picked up my phone and called Jess one of my fuck buddies I picked up along the way

*Phone Call*

J- Hello

-Hey it's Serena

J- Oh hey baby long time no talk

- I know you free to come over tonight

J- Hell yeah

- Good come over at 8

J- No problem see ya then

- Bye Jess

*End of Phone Call*

I'm getting a good fuck tonight..

Demi's POV

I walked to my car and my phone started ringing, I looked at the Caller ID to see that it was my boyfriend Wilmer

*Phone Call*

W- Hey baby

-Hey

W- Are you free tonight

- Yeah why

W- So I can come over and we can have some fun

- Wilmer you know I'm not ready for that

W- Demi we've been together for a year now and you're still not ready

- Yes exactly right

W- Demi do you still think that phase of yours is real

- Yes Wilmer because it's not a phase

W- Watch tonight and you'll forget about this stupid phase

*End of Phone Call*

As I was about to reply he hung up, I fell to the floor beside my car and the tears started flowing down my cheeks

He doesn't understand that I'm a lesbian and it's not just a phase, he thinks that if he has sex with me I will fall head over heels in love with him but it's not going to happen. There's a reason that I'm with him and haven't left and it's a reason I wish that nobody has to go through because it's horrible and I don't even know how to explain it, there are no words to comprehend why people do this but it's happening and I'm stuck in the midst of it all with no escape other than ending it all, my life.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, a soft, delicate hand. I turned around to see that mysterious girl, she looked beautiful even through my tears.

"Are you okay?" she asked

I nodded my head and she pulled me into a hug and at that moment I just started crying even more, all the emotions that have been bottled up came out.

"It'll be okay," she soothingly said

I held on to her as if I would lose grasp of life if I let go and I just cried, letting my emotions out to a complete stranger but somehow I have a connection with this mysterious girl. I don't know what I could have in common with this girl especially since she smokes, she's quite rude and incredibly cocky but there's something and it feels different

"I understand if you don't want to tell me what is wrong since I am a complete stranger but If you want to talk about it and maybe release some things from inside of you I'm more than happy to listen," she said

I looked up at her and for once there was no cocky grin on her face and she looked serious, a hint of sadness was in her eyes. Was that because of me? No Demi.. Stop thinking like that

"Why do you care?" I asked

"Well I saw you lying on the ground and there was no way I was going to leave you here,"

"I don't even know your name," I pointed out and that mesmerising smile came on to her face

"Serena," she said

I smiled at that, a beautiful name to go with a beautiful person I thought

"S YOU COMING!" I heard somebody yell

She nodded her head over to three guys

"Let me help you up," she said as she wrapped her arm around my waist and helped me up. I felt something jolt through me again at her touch

She smiled and hugged me

"Stay strong you're a warrior," she whispered and just disappeared with her friends
