Chapter 16

Demi's POV

I awoke to smell of something burnt and as I rushed to the kitchen Serena was standing there in the midst of the messiest kitchen I've ever seen with food worse than I cook and let me say that's pretty awful.

"Don't say anything," she said and I tried to hold in my laughter as I walked closer.

"Were you trying to cook?" I asked.

"Yes for you so you could eat something when you wake up but instead this happened," she groaned.

"Don't worry I'll just order some pizza does that sound good?" I asked and she nodded.

"I'm sorry about all this but I'm really not a good cook,"

"Well our first date you seemed to do pretty well," I said and that famous cocky smirk appeared on her face.

"Don't get full of yourself," I chuckled and a pout appeared on her face and I simply planted my lips on hers and smiled.

"I love being able to do that," I smiled.

"I love the feeling of it,"

"Get used to it," I replied but something in Serena's mood changed for a slight second and then she was back to her smiling self.

Confused I pushed it aside and just pretended it was nothing, "Go pick a movie whilst I order the pizzas," I said and Serena nodded, kissed me on the check and walked into the lounge room.

Serena's POV

Hearing her say those words 'get used to it' hit me right in the chest.. Why am I still going through with this bet when I know inside of me I have genuine feelings for Demi? Why?

Because you're a slut and a bitch Serena that's the real you..

A knock was on the door and I looked at Demi who shrugged, "It can't be the pizzas way too fast,"

As she opened the door Josh, Jacob and Niko barged in, "Get out of here now," Josh whispered.

"Whats going on and why are you whispering?" I questioned.

"The Blood Brothers," they said and that was enough to have Demi on my back running out of the apartment.

After fifteen minutes we came to a stop and I placed Demi down off my back and pushed Jacob, "What the hell is all this about?" I snapped.

"Come here," he said pulling my arm away from Demi.

"There making plans, they're trying to get you,"

"But why the hell did you come to Demi's and tell me and how did you know I was there anyway?"

"Wild guess and we needed to tell you straight away because they were there,"

"At Demi's?" I questioned and he nodded.

I looked over to Demi and she looked pale and scared and utterly confused.

"What do I tell Demi about all this now?"

"Just say that it was a mistake and that we thought it was these guys who have something against us and we thought we had seen them," Jacob whispered and I nodded walking back to Demi.

"Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded.

"What the hell was that?" she questioned as expected.

"A mistake that's all,"

"Who are The Blood Brothers?"

"Just a few guys that have something against us but it's nothing important just gave us a bit of a fright,"

"So there's nothing to worry about?" She asked and I shook my head, "Of course not,"

I took her hand and nodded to all the guys and left them there whilst we walked back to Demi's place in a awkward silence.

Enrique's POV

They think there going to be one step ahead of me but I'm always going to be three steps ahead and I'll do whatever it takes to get SERENA and make sure I kill the ones she loves including this new girl, Demi..

Wait till I'm done with them all, they won't know what hit them..
