Chapter 17

Demi's POV

I can tell Serena's hiding something from me and I hate it, I get that were just new to this relationship, well it's not even a relationship neither of us have asked one another to be each other's girlfriends so really I understand that she doesn't feel obliged to tell me but if we are going to become serious I need to know that she can be honest with me and both I can trust her and she can trust me.

"Are you okay?" she asked and I nodded silently not speaking a word.

"Alright well I'm going to go back to my place," she said as she stood up.

"Alright see you," I spoke softly.

"Demi I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong," Serena stated and shrugging my shoulders I didn't know what to say.

"Please tell me, trust me," she said stroking my cheek.

"I want you to trust me and be honest with me," I said softly.

"I do,"

"Well then why does it feel like you're lying to me about what happened before?" I questioned

"But I'm not that's the truth,"

"Promise?" I questioned holding out my pinky.

Seriously," she laughed and I nodded, "Promise," she said.

"Alright you can go now," I laughed kissing her cheek.

"Is that all I get?" she asked puckering her lips.

"Mmm okay just one," I smirked pecking her on the lips and pushing her out.

Serena's POV

I just lied to her.. Way to go Serena. Not to just say I'm probably confusing Demi I'm confusing myself.. Just yesterday I confirmed my feelings for her yet today I'm lying to her, hiding things from her and utterly confused at what I'm now feeling.

No matter what I do or say I always seem to be back at square one. Why couldn't I just have a different life?

"What the hell was with that today?" I yelled as I walked into our house.

"Listen calm down," Josh said and I took a deep breath and pushed my anger aside at least for now and listened to them.

"We're meeting them at the spot tonight at ten," Niko said and I nodded.

"What do you thinks going to happen?" I asked.

"They're either going to try to take you, threaten us or kill us," Jacob said.

"Way to boost our confidence," I snarled, "You asked," Jacob said shrugging.

Now on top of everything else I have to deal with these idiots..

Waiting for them at the spot was silently painful as none of us knew what to expect from them.

Pacing back and forth impatiently finally I heard that evil laugh of Enrique's. As we turned around guns were evidently in their hands as they pointed it towards all of us.

"Well well isn't good to see you all again," Enrique started and I literally wanted to punch him and show him what he deserves.

"Now Serena how are you and your girlfriend going?" he asked stroking my cheek.

"Don't you dare touch me and don't you even think about talking of her," I snapped.

"Now Serena you know I can do it the hard way or the easy way," he chuckled.

"No way," I said punching him in the gut.

"Well boys since they want the hard way let's show them exactly that," he smirked and all it took was a matter of seconds before Niko and Josh had cuts from a knife right across their cheeks.

"Just leave them alone!" I pleaded watching the boys in pain.

"Why would we do that when this is so much fun!" Johnny said.

I turned around to face the boys for one second and that's all it took for me to be tied up and having a knife resting on my neck.

"Now boys this is your decision if you move Christiano will cut her but if you don't then we can possibly come to an agreement," Enrique said.

"Let her go!" Jacob yelled.

Boom! A gun shot that came from Heath was shot at him as he fell to the ground in pain and that's when we heard a girl's squeal which wasn't mine and that's all it took for The Blood Brothers to let me go and flee, "We'll be back you can count on it!" Enrique called back.

"Go get whoever that was and hold her captive in our basement until I get there," I ordered Josh and Niko to do as I rushed to Jacob's aid.
