Chapter 45

Serena's POV

I woke up to arms wrapped around my waist and it felt good, it felt nice to be loved and wanted for once. It was different.

"Good morning," she said as I fluttered my eyes open to look at my flawlessly beautiful girlfriend, "Good morning," I responded.

"Last night was amazing," I said and she nodded as I sealed my lips on to hers, quickly pulling away.

I just watched her, and for some reason I knew exactly what she was thinking. She was afraid that this was all just a game to me, like she was just a chase like all of those other girls and that now that I had finally conquered it I'll leave. I hated that she still thought that about me especially after everything we've been through but I couldn't blame her considering I had done it so many times before and she knew that, everyone knows that.

But Demi, she was anything but one of those girls and as I tried to find the right words to tell her I placed my lips on hers once more mumbling, "Demi this and you its different. Give me the benefit of the doubt like you have these past few months. I promise okay?"

She nodded contemplating what I said and then responding, "Good because I don't want to lose you."

"I know," I said not saying it back and I knew it hurt her not hearing those words back.

"Would you like some coffee?" she asked standing up from bed.

I watched her sexy, naked figure walk around the bed, throwing on my t-shirt and some sweatpants. I finally managed to stutter a response after watching her glorious body, "Y-yeah."

She smirked and then walked out of the room, leaving me alone to lie in bed and attempt to process everything that had just happened. We did the unthinkable, we made love to each other.

And it was amazing.

I didn't know what else to think of it, the way she touched me, the way she kissed me, the sound of her moans. All the memories came flooding back to me as I recalled how she had drove me crazy.

I had never felt that amazing in my life, and I had been with plenty of girls, but Demi was something else. Demi was completely different.

But for some reason this only frightened me more, because I've never had a proper attachment with any other girls other than Reagan and now Demi. I felt something with Demi, I felt a lot of things I had never experienced in my nineteen years but now that I had slept with her, well it was a game changer.

And it honestly scared me.

I was so scared and I was hoping that I wouldn't feel the need to run away again.

I stood up from bed and put on a loose, long t-shirt and walked up to Demi from behind wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her shoulder blade.

"Do you want any sugar?" she asked and I shook my head, "But maybe from you I wouldn't mind," I winked earning a pinch on the arm from her.

"Ow," I moaned and she smirked kissing my cheek.

She turned around and handed me my coffee as she started to sip on hers.

"You know you look so sexy right now," I said tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Baby you do with your I just got fucked hair," she said.

"I just made love hair," I mumbled but she heard as her face instantly changed.

"I'm sorry," she apologised and I shook my head, "You don't need to be."

"Baby I didn't mean it in that way you know that," Demi said kissing my cheek.

"This means more to me than just a good fuck," I said in all seriousness.

"I know that," she said quietly.

"I don't know if you do. You're not just a good chase for me, you're completely different. You've changed me in so many ways, like here I am saying what I'm feeling there's something I didn't think I would ever do," I said.

"Baby I know this isn't a game to you but I just had those doubts," she said and I nodded, "I know you do and I don't want you to have those doubts anymore baby."

She looked at me as a tear escaped her eye, "Our relationship is so up and down but I'm addicted to it and I don't know what I'd do without you," she said.

"It's you and me," I smiled wiping away her tears.

"Me and you," she repeated.

I smiled removing her coffee from her hands and placing it on the bench next to us. I grabbed hold of her thighs and lifted her up on to the bench as her squeal filled the room.

"You're my forever and always," I smiled and placed my lips on top of hers as we moved in one motion.

"Is anyone home?" I called out as I walked into the house, hand in hand with Demi.

"Up here," I heard Josh call out and I felt Demi's grip tighten in my hand.

"It'll be fine," I whispered placing a kiss on her cheek.

We walked into Josh's room to find him with his head in his hands, looking quite panicked.

"What's up?" I questioned.

"We have a problem," he said and I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Do you want me to go?" Demi asked and I shook my head, "Stay."

"What is it?" I asked Josh.

"These guys we've dealt with in the past came by asking for us to do one last drug trade for them," he explained.

"Shit," I mumbled.

"The worse part is that we have to fly to Milan with a bag full of drug money without being caught."

I looked at Demi and I started to giggle at the look plastered across her face, "Baby you okay there?"

"Yeah I'm totally fine I mean it's not like the first time I've had a conversation about trading illegal drug money or anything," she sarcastically spoke.

I chuckled and looked back towards Josh, "I'm guessing I need to take the drug money," I said and he nodded.

"When do we need to do this?" I asked.

"Tomorrow," he said and I nodded, "How much?"

"200," he replied.

"200 dollars? Oh, that's not too bad," Demi said and I snorted at how innocent and clueless she was.

"No babe, 200,000 thousand dollars, cash."

She looked at me jaw wide open in shock, "Serena don't do this," she argued but I shook my head, "Demi I have to and then this will be the last one."

"Serena I can't let you do this, risk your whole life for a stupid drug trade," she said slightly raising her voice.

"Demi I'm sorry but I need to do this," I said trying not to yell at her.

She shook her head and took off in a mad fit, "Demi!" I called out after her.

And that's when it went off...
