Genesis

I rubbed my protruding belly , viewing it in the mirror . I couldn't believe how far I was now and how well it was going . Besides the normal symptoms , I could say I was having a great first pregnancy .

"Mommy guess what!?" I turned towards an excited Kassidy. I smiled .

"What?" I asked to match her excitement even though I already knew .

"It's find out day!" She cheesed. I nodded .

"I knoow , are you ready?" I asked. I wiggled my eyebrows making her laugh and nod quickly.

"Yes! I'm ready Freddy!" She yelled and ran out . I chuckled softly, putting my hair into a low ponytail .

It was the beginning of March in Alabama  so I just put on a maternity shirt with some sandals. I grabbed my crossover , not really in the mood for a purse.

"Baby!!" I heard King yell. I stepped out of my closet to see him rushing in with Kassidy right behind him. I looked between the both of them.

"What?" I asked.

"You need any help? You good?" He asked , all in one breath. I nodded with a grin .

"I'm great King , I'm excited. Are you?" I asked . He nodded.

"Yeah , I am. These months are flying by." He spoke . I agreed.

"I'm a bit scared. The faster they go by , the closer I am to labor ." I cringed. He grabbed my hand while Kassidy grabbed my other.

"Don't wo--" Kassidy cut him short.

"Don't worry bout that mommy , lets go find out sister!" She said , pulling me . She stopped before looking up at me. "Wait what's labor?"

"It's when the baby comes." I told her .

"So why are you scared? Aren't you ready to see sister?"

"Yeah I'm ready to see either your little brother or sister but ..it's just gonna hurt mommy stomach a lil." I put it the best way I could .

"Well you shouldn't have ate it ." She said before leaving the room. I heard King laughing under his breath.

"This is your fault . Got her thinking I ate the baby." I punched his shoulder . He smirked.

"Aye I didn't tell her you swallowed." I felt his hand smack my rear. I rolled my eyes at him , pushing his hand back.

"Don't even play me. I've never even gave you head before so boop." I spat , putting my hand to his face .

"Whatever , lets go before we're late for the appointment." He said. We walked out the room as Kassidy was putting her shoes on by the door . I held her arm to help her balance as I played with her plats .
