Genesis
"Chicken noodle soup , chicken noodle soup , chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side." I playfully sung as I brought Kassidy a bowl of it .
She smiled before sneezing again. I frowned as I put the bowl on the bed stand . I snatched a tissue from the Kleenex box beside it , putting it over her nose .
"Blow." I said low . She blew probably as hard as she could before i wiped her nose and around it . I threw the tissue away in her trash can . I sat on the foot of her head and tucked her hair behind her ear. "My poor boo boo." I pouted . "You ready for your soup?"
"Yesss." She said , sitting up . I pushed her farther back so her back was to the headboard . I put a pillow across her lap and put the bowl on top .
"Okay , be careful. It's hot." I told her . She picked up her spoon and blew it a little too hard , marking it splash . "Not so hard Kas." I said as she ate the spoonful .
"Okay." She said low , getting another spoonful .
"I'll be back , I'm gonna get your juice and some yummy medicine , make you feel better."
I got up from her bed , heading downstairs . I past Tyrell as he still played the game and went into the kitchen . King already had a cup of juice . "I was just about to fix her some." I said .
"I got her." He said , going upstairs . I went to the cabinet where he kept medicine , looking for the Tylenol . I found cherry flavored kind.
I heard a sigh making me turn around with the bottle . "What's wrong?"
"I don't like that she's sick , that's all." King said , I agreed .
"Yea me either." I went back up the stairs , into her room . I saw she was just playing in her soup now . "You don't want it?" I asked , she shook her head . Lost her appetite.
"Okay." I took the bowl , placing it on the bed stand temporarily . I unscrewed the cap on the Tylenol , pouring a little in the top .
"That's nasty." Kassidy pouted .
"Not its not . "
"Yes uh , daddy gave it to me the last time I was sick ."
"Well it's gonna make you feel alot better . So just take this and drink your juice afterwards." I said , sitting on her bed with the cap in my hands .
