I was just now laying down from a long day . We had bought a few more things for the baby room and Kassidy's earlier along with some other things I needed to get done . Now my eyes were getting droopy as it was finally cooling down.

Since it was now the second week into June already , it was becoming hot outside. I stretched my arms and laid on my side , noticing the shower water just now stopping .

I took a deep breath , relaxing myself and trying to fall on to sleep. I caught myself dozing off after few minutes just as I heard Genesis's voice seeping through. 

"Say it again." I grumbled , turning over the pillow and laying the opposite way .

She was quiet for a while then spoke again . "I think my water just broke."

I perked my lips , still laying down . "Yeah , sure it did." I shut my eyes closed again , drifting off .

"King I'm serious." I furrowed my eyebrows and looked up towards the bathroom. I could see her standing there through the door . I knew by the tone of her voice she was serious.

"Aw shit." I mumbled , getting up. I sat on the side of the bed , starting to put my shoes on. She finished getting dressed , her breathing increasing .

"Are you ok? Does it hurt?"

"No , I'm just really nervous now." She breathed. I stood over beside her , pressing her down on the bed by her hips .

"Sit down and calm down. Where's the bag again?" I asked. She exhaled deeply , pointing towards the door .

"Baby room and get the carseat too. Get Kassidy up too." I nodded.

"Alright I got it , just ..take deep breaths." I instructed her and she did as I said . I walked out the bedroom , crossing the house as I went into Kassidy's room first.

"Kas baby wake up." I shook her until she woke up . She looked up at me , starting to rub her eyes. I picked her up , grabbing a pair of her shoes .

"Daddy where are we going?" She whined , laying her head down on my shoulder as I carried her. I entered the baby's room , placing the prepared bag on my other shoulder and grabbing the carseat with my right hand .

"Pea's ready to see you." I said to her. I went to the front door , opening it . I went out to the truck , putting the carseat down and opening the backdoor .

"He's about to come out of Genesis's stomach?" She asked. I looked at her .

"Yeah he's about to come out of mommy's stomach." I spoke a little slowly and sat her in her booster seat . She sat there , slightly pouting as I buckled her up . I put the carseat and bag on the other side of her .

"Put ya lip in and put your shoes on." I said , putting her shoes in her lap. She looked down at her shoes , still pouting .

"I don't want these shoes daddy." I ignored her , shutting the door . I looked back to see Genesis wobbling out the house with her purse . She closed the , I assume locked , door behind her and came over . I opened the passenger door as she walked closer.
