Genesis

"I promise I won't .. d-do that. I won't take too many pills." I said .

He looked at me . "Y'know how I feel when people lie to me so don't break this." He said . I nodded .

"Imma help you through this , alright? We all are . We're here to help. This is really serious gene."

My phone stay on , just call when you wanna talk but that pill shit unacceptable doll girl and you know that

"I love you Genesis , I never stopped."

My mind raced as I sat in the bedroom alone . Both Keenan and Kassidy was down for their nap and of course King wasn't anywhere around. At the point of my depression , I couldn't even find tears to cry.

I simply stared at my medicine bottle inside the lock cap. I started impatiently tap on the top as I tried to guess the code . I ran both of my hands through my hair.

His birthday ? I highly doubt it.
Kassidy's birthday? Too cliche .

I thought extremely hard as to who else he cared dearly about . More than anything . I sighed hard , pressing my fist against my forehead .

I sat there for a good five minutes , now sniffling from the overwhelming thoughts roaming through my head . Through all the thoughts , it finally snapped of what the password could be.

Kelsey's birthday . I slightly remembered the birthday he told me , entering it in but it still didn't open.

"Are you serious!?" I mumbled angrily . I put the bottle down , side eyeing it .

I grabbed it , getting another idea. I tapped in the date when Kelsey died , watching it pop open. My heart raced as I looked inside of it , seeing all the pills that were left.

I bit down on my lip as I grabbed the water bottle beside me. I dumped all the pills out into my hands , not even counting them.

I took deep breaths before throwing them all back , washing it down with the water. I faced forward , thinking about what I've just done . I looked inside the empty bottle , almost regretting doing this . It was too late now , though.

Pills relieve my stress once more ....even if it's permanently .

2 hours later

King

I took a deep breath as I looked up at the house before getting out the truck. I walked up to the door , starting to put my key in.

I opened the door to hear both Keenan and Kassidy crying . I was puzzled and decided who to check on first . I decided on Kassidy because her cry sounded more like a scream and panicky . It also seem like she was closer.

I sped walked towards the sound of her voice , following it to my bedroom. I opened the door , having my stomach instantly drop. Kassidy was crying loudly as she tried to get Genesis up, who was laid out on the floor with a pool of blood streaming from her mouth.
