Genesis

About a week had passed by and it was more peaceful than ever. Keenan was far more playful and Kassidy surprisingly had came around , she was playing with him.

King was staying home more still but this entire month he's seen to be in deep thought and on the phone a lot . Other than that , we've been spending alot of time together .

Today had been a boring day. King left about an hour ago to the store , he say so me and the kids were watching Pocahontas . Well it was more like it was just me watching as Keenan made noise with his toys while Kassidy sung loudly playing with toys beside him.

I stretched out , continuing to lay on the couch . I looked from the tv to them on the floor , slightly smiling .

"Keenaan.." I cooed . He looked up at me , still knocking the block against the floor. I called his name again , making him cheese.

He put the block down as he started crawling over to me. It wasn't his first time but I was still excited when he did do it . He got to the couch and looked up at me.

I bent down , pecking his lips. He had a fit of giggles before I picked him up . I sat up straight , gnawing on his jaw playfully as he clasped his hands together slowly. I stopped to look at him as he had a wide grin causing me to chuckle and peck his lips again .

"Moma someone's at the door!" Kas yelled as if I wasn't in the same room as her . I had just noticed the doorbell was ringing . I got up with Kee on my hip , starting to walk to the door .

I pinched Kassidy cheek as I passed her and looked out the peephole. I was a bit surprised and opened the door.

"Hey Ms.Latoya." I greeted her as she had a wide smile and a girl with her . "Hey beautiful ."

She gasped as she grabbed Keenan from me , kissing his cheek. "There's my little trooper." She cooed .

"Grandma!" Kassidy yelled as she ran to her. Ms.latoya bent down , giving her a hug as she was still holding Kee.

"And there's my princess."

I smiled as I walked up beside her. She stood up straight , repositioning Kee on her hip . "So what are you doing here? And who's she?" I asked .

"Oh! I almost forgot myself. This is Demi , my great niece. She's a makeup artist." She started before taking Kee's hand out of his mouth . "She's here to make you flawless."

I chuckled , furrowing my eyebrows. "For why?" I dragged , confused on really everything concerning them being here.

"Here ya go." I turned to Demi as she handed me a big box. I took it from her , looking at a sticky note on top with King's name on it.

I removed the top , moving the paper as I saw a blue dress . I oohed as I sat it down on the table , pulling it out . I pressed it against me before seeing heels and jewelry also in the box. I was in awe as I looked at everything .

"King has a little surprise so I'm here to babysit and Demi's here to do your hair and makeup." Ms.Latoya said. I turned towards them as Demi had came in with her roller bag.
