Ever since King proposed about a month ago , a lot has been going . From me trying to get plans together , getting  Kassidy ready for her first day of kindergarten and I myself was thinking about starting online college classes .

After finding Anthony's letter he had in my flashback , I read over it. It seemed like I was doing pretty good based off of what he said in the letter of what he expected of me. It was one thing that made me feel some type of way ; being independent .

When I was growing up , I had to be independent . People were leaving my life left and right to where I was nearly by myself . Ever since I've been dating King though it seems as though I've lost my independence .

Even if we were going to be married in an amount of months , I still wanted a back up plan. I still wanted to feel I still had control over my life and make my deceased family proud. So I started online classes to be a pediatrician considering my love for children .

At the moment , Kassidy and I was in a clothing store to buy her some uniform while King stated home with Keenan. Her first day was actually on Friday. Why Friday? I won't understand .

"This is ugly." Kassidy whined as I put them in the basket .

"You've got to wear them though."

"Why?"

"Because it's your school's rule."

"Daddy said rules are meant to be broke unless their his." I looked at her and saw seriousness written over her face .

"Well you've got to follow these rules too. " I said , looking for a pair of khakis. I found some and turned to see her stale facing the clothes that were already in the basket .

"Really Kas?" I asked with a slight chuckle.

"So are you and daddy gonna be together forever now?" She asked , looking up at me.

She grabbed my hand , twirling the ring on my finger . "That's the plan." I replied .

"Moma can you hold me?" She asked , holding her arms up towards me. I perked my lips.

"Kas you're a big girl now." I groaned. I grabbed her , straining to pick her up but finally got her on my hip. 

She smiled and I shook my head. "Give me a kiss now." I said , turning my face to the side.

She kissed my cheek and wrapped her arms around my neck. She laid her head on my shoulder as I pushed the cart . I grabbed a few more things before going to the register . I got my wallet out my purse , going through it to get my card all while Kas was still on my hip.

I pushed her back on my hip as she was slightly sliding down. It was a guy  in front of me and he turned around. Is it appropriate to say he was a beautiful dark skin with a full beard ? But King was my only type .

"You're daughter is pretty." He said . I smiled .

"Thank you." He nodded.
