32 | Sweet Home Alabama

Genesis

After 15 hours , we finally arrived Alabama . We stopped numerous times for food , to get gas or just to use the restroom. All of this riding  had me sicker than ever . Once i had drove for a couple hours , giving King a break , I  fell asleep to see if I would feel better when I woke up .

"Gene!" I heard Kassidy whining my name . I sighed , turning my head towards her.

"Yes Kas?" I gave her a weak smile .

"Why you still sleep?"

"I'm just a little sick Kas." I said still looking at her . I felt us come to a stop and King cut off the ignition . I turned around and my eyes widened . King turned to me.

"This what you meant?"

"King it's beautiful , oo I wanna go in now." I shrieked , opening my door. I got up but quickly grabbed the truck as I felt my knees weak from being cooped up in that truck.

I shook my legs out as he got out , coming over by me. "You ok?" He asked , his hand resting on my lower back .

I nodded as Kassidy yelled , "I wanna get out too." King went to the back door , opening it , helping her get out as I felt a jerk in the pit of my stomach .

I bent over , holding my belly as I emptied it in the yard .

"Eww." Kassidy churned her face standing beside me . I continued to puke before I felt it was all gone. I wipe the tears that came from my straining .

"Home Sweet home." King mumbled looking down at the yard. I covered my mouth as I got my bag out the passenger seat .

I head nodded towards the house and his eyes widened. "Oh my bad." He went up to the door and unlocked it , letting us in.

I looked around , falling deeply in love on sight . It wasn't because of the decorations but I suppose the thought of starting over here . It felt like home . It was a great size , not too much not too little. Just perfect in my eyes .

I rushed to the bathroom and took out my toothbrush and toothpaste , brushing my teeth . Once I was done , I started chewing a piece of gum and used the restroom . I walked out , going to the living room to see Kassidy laid across the couch as she dangled her legs up above her , singing .

"You already broke the bathroom in , huh?" King laughed. I smiled.

"I had to , I'm sorry." I laughed. He shrugged .

"Don't have to apologize , it's yours too now. Little one tearing you up." He smirked , gently pushing on my stomach .

"Yes he or she is." I stated , my eyes starting to wander off around the room .

"Come on and ill show you around. Kas come on." She stood up , taking his other hand as I had the other .

"Daddy when are we going back home?" She asked as we walked , already getting to the other side of the home.
