Prompt- Troye crashes on a island and meets a boy named Connor

The air, a type of air so dry that it seems to do nothing for Troye's sore throat, chokes him as he lay on the hot dirt. The plane that his parents promised was in good condition for a 19 hour flight  was in the salt water next to him. Slowly, he lifts his aching body off of the ground. Dirt sticks to the roof of his mouth as he stares at his surroundings duly. They were nothing short of hideous and as tears formed in his eyes the realization of something horrible hit him like the plane debris that litters the sand around him.  He was lost, and didn't have slightest idea where.

Troye was supposed to be in Minnesota, a trip from Perth that shouldn't of been too hard. You can fly yourself, they had said. They were wrong and Troye had a whole island to prove it. He begins to walk. His legs, ones that are shaky and scratched, barely carry his weight has he walks thru the shriveled up weeds and ugly flowers. Everything there seemed to scream death, and Perth was the exact opposite. With its beautiful scenery and suburban homes things seemed simple.

Things were no longer simple and Troye was no longer home. After a good ten minutes of walking and almost giving up hope twice, he finally see's a patch of trees. Limping towards them and hopefully some water, Troye discards his torn shirt and soaked shoe. The shade from the towering oaks make him sigh in relief and as he nears the center of the dry forest. He hears a rustle. It's quiet, barely even hearable, but Troye has always been good at hearing things he wasn't supposed to.

Turning around swiftly he spots movement. A figure, short and almost pudgey looking. But it only lasts a few seconds before the silhouettes and gone and Troyes alone again. Shaken up and slightly scared Troye continues his journey for water. He finds it. It's a small pond that s not to big and definitely not clean but it's water and he's grateful. He falls to his knees with a howl of joy and begins to take the water in his cupped hands, gulping it quickly. The happy moment doesn't last long.

"Don't move!" A voice suddenly yells and Troye freezes, still hunched over with his eyes closed in what used to be pleasure. A hard object pokes his back and he obediently turns around. There stands a boy, about his age with brown feathery hair and bright green eyes, and Troye almost sighs in relief. Another human, another person to help him survive. Ignoring the paint that marks the boys face and the fact that he's wearing a shred of what used to be a shirt around his head Troye stands.

"Thank God! I was beginning to think i was going to die out here all-"

"I said don't move!" Shouts the boy and Troye blinks, wide eyed, as he watched the boy's bare chest rise and fall heavily. "Where you come from? What you want?" Confused and slightly offended Troye replies.

"I-I came from Perth. My plane crashed and I'm stranded." The wild boy looks to his right almost like he can see threw the trees to where Troye crashed.

"You come from sky?" Troye nods, now grasping the fact that this kid can't speak fluent english although he definitely looks American. "You won't hurt?" The boy looks fragile, almost scared even though he's the one holding the pointed stick.

"You? Of course not. what's your name?" Warily the boy puts the stick down and stands up straighter.

"Connor."

Troye learns several things about Connor on the short walk from the pond, even though the boy couldn't speak to well.  It turns out that Connor has been living on this island for as long as he could remember, a cargo ship full of food being the only thing he has. His parents decided that living on a deserted island and making it their own would be fun, even though Connor was just baby at the time. He learned what English knows from the two who sadly died when he was seven, a family project going horribly wrong when they both got deathly ill. Once they make it back to where Connor has been 'living' Troye decided to form a plan.
