RYAN'S P.O.V.
                              Friday
I sat in my usual desk and talked with my baseball bud, Chad. My eyes then went towards the door when I saw Kristen walk into the classroom. I toned Chad out as he began about how annoying coach was being and entered my own little world.
There was definitely something different about her that kinda left me wanting to know more. I didn't know if it was because during the solid minute we spoke at the party she was cocky as hell and throwing me attitude. She was literally one of the only girls to do that and in some way manage to draw me towards her. Or maybe it was just that she was super hot and nerdy but cute all at the same time.
                              "Cole," Dr. Blake called.
"Yeah, what?" I got back to reality and examined the professor's face.
"Pay attention!" he barked while turning around at the board.
After 10 minutes of boring lectures and explanations on what a comma splice was, Dr. Blake finally stopped talking.
"Today, we are going to start on the final processes of editing your research papers. You could pick your partners this time," the he then turned to glare straight at me, "choose wisely," before looking around the room and continuing. "Alright. Now choose your partners then switch papers and finish it all up. Remember that your edits and your paper are worth a big portion of your grade."
After Dr. Blake sat down at his desk, I stood up.
When I directed my eyes to the seat next to Kristen, I noticed a little, blond-haired nerd sitting next to her. Easy target. I then noticed Kristen wasn't very pleased with his presence either.
"Up," I mumbled while standing over the kid's desk.
"What?" he replied with a small strand of confidence.
"Get up. That's my seat," I said.
He looked up at me and was immediately striped from the confidence he had only seconds ago. He nodded, clearly intimidated by me and stood up. He then sat besides the other annoying kid who I asked for the answer the other day.
I readjusted the desk a bit and sat next to Kristen.
"What was that?" she asked, annoyed.
                              "A twig," I sighed.
I saw the look in her glowing blue eyes, I could tell she was about to laugh, but decided against it. Maybe because I was being rude or maybe because she didn't want to give me the satisfaction of knowing I was funny.
"Well are you gonna go apologize?" she said.
"Um...no?" I raised an eyebrow. I had never apologized and was definitely not going to start with that kid.
                              "Why not?"
I turned to her, "why should I?" I shot back.
"Because you shouldn't treat people that way... plus, if you don't apologize, I'm not working with you," she replied while cocking an eyebrow and pulling her bag on her lap.
She shifted through and pulled out a folder and the famous blue pen. Is she kidding? She had to be...
                              "Are you legit?" I asked.
She looked up at me then pointed at her full, pink lips that were pressed into a straight line. Damn, just imagine those gorgeous lips wrapped--
"No one tells me what to do," I replied before my thought could finish.
                              "I honestly couldn't care less."
