I sat inside then slammed the car door.

He sighed then walked in front of the hood and opened his door.

After a 20 minute drive, we arrive at his building parking lot. He unbuckled his seatbelt and turned off the car.  "Coming?" He asked.

I got out and walked towards the building with him by my side.

When he closed the door behind us, he threw his keys on the table.

"Fine let's talk" he sat on the back of the couch "let's set some rules first"

"Rules?" I wrinkled my forehead.

"One, no mentioning his name. He may be referenced as Fucker, Asshole, Jackass-"

"Got it" I interrupted.

"Two, I better not hear another sorry. Three, no pouting faces or anything. Four, you do exactly what I say. Five, always be honest. Six, you are not to flip your hair, smile or do anything involving your mouth. Besides talk" he said.

"Uhm .. Why?" I asked.

"Seven, no questioning me" he added.

"Why can't I flip my hair?" My lips turned into a small smile.

"Because you know what you do to me" he said "might as well put it up now" he added.

"This is pathetic" I said as I grabbed the hair tie on my wrist.

"Learn the rules, it'll happen every time we go through this" he remarked.

"Excuse me?" I crossed my arms after fixing the pony tail.

My mood drastically changed. Uhm what was that supposed to mean .. "this was one mistake I made. Once. Meaning that I am not going to make another, meaning that 'next time' it won't be me asking for an apology" I said.

"Are you saying that I should have been the one to mess up?" He stood up.

"Rule number five? Yes. I thought you were gonna be the first one to screw up since you were so messed up before we met" I blurted out. Where did that come from? Oh god.

"Messed up? Me? What the hell" He raged.

"Ugh, don't even" I rolled my eyes. Why did I have to say that? I just changed the whole subject and I know he won't go down without a fight, its Ryan.

"No no. Tell me how messed up I was. Tell me what you are actually thinking in that pretty little head of yours!" He replied.

I knew I couldn't tell him how messed up I thought he was before I actually began to understand him. The truth hurts but I wasn't gonna just say it.

"Hell. You can't just get me angry then stand quiet like that!" He yelled.

Forget that. My courage built up "you want me to tell you how you were before we met?!" This is gonna be a mistake.

"Rule number five, babe" he spit.

"You used to be an asshole, dick head and jackass! You used to make fun of everyone who was educationally, socially or physically below you! You never cared about anyone and you would only focused on your damn self. Every day you would go to parties, get drunk, use girls like rags. To count how many girls you would sleep with every week, you'd need to use both hands! Baseball was your life and that was it. You built up walls so people wouldn't know who you really are! You think that you are the only guy who used to be bullied and taunted but you're not! Only because that happened to you, doesn't mean you can do that to other people! You were a coward and a fucking jerk" I released.
