                              RYAN'S P.O.V.
Class went swiftly today. Kris and i did alot of work.
I agreed to come over her place after school so that we can work a bit more.
I knocked on her door and leaned on the door frame as i put my hands in my pockets. She opened the door.
"way to forget your books. you are here to study you know" she smiled.
                              i smirked.
she let me enter and I stepped in.
She locked the door and sat at the table where books were laid out. I tilted my head and sat next to her.
"You better not be doing our project without my help" i said as i looked over the papers.
She laughed and started to pick them up "nooo, this is my English homework"
                              "Need help?" I asked.
                              "i already finished" she smiled.
                              "Oh" i chuckled.
"come on, let's get this over with. you need the grade" she said.
                              "alright" i chuckled.
i loved how she cared about my grades and well-being. no one else really cared about anything of that sort. but she did.
we finished about an hour later. it was now around 3:30.
as she began to pile all the notes and papers, i crossed my arms on the table and put my head down. i heard her put away the laptop and clean the table up. she then sat down next to me.
"something wrong?" she asked while getting in the same position as me and snuggling close.
"just tired" i mumbled. lies. i had just helped Tyler pay the drug money he owed .. again .. that's twice in the past 2 weeks.
i felt guilty. i had to stop helping Tyler .. for my own good and for hers. but was i going to tell her that? no.
"i can see right through it" she whispered.
she could read passed me better than anyone else.
"i'm alright, Kris" i turned to her.
"fine. don't tell me" she stared deep into my eyes.
she then stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
great. now i feel worse. i stood up and walked over. i stood behind her then turned her around.
"i'm just tired, babe" i said, meaning that i didn't mean to push her away.
"i know, it's just.." she paused.
"what?" i tried to get her to finish the thought.
"it's just that i want- i need you to trust me. you can tell me anything, Ryan. and i want to know that i can trust you too" she replied.
"i do. i do trust you and i want you to know you could trust me too" i tilted her chin up.
"so .. something wrong?" she asked again, expecting a different answer.
this is a good time. tell her that you are helping pay for druggies and that you are kinda stuck in the middle of it. she'll understand, right? .. right?
                              "just tired" i replied.
she nodded, trusting me. she stood on her tippy toes and kissed me. her kisses were always the best, making me feel like she really cares about me.
