"Do you wanna go out and eat something?" he asked while standing straight and turning towards me.

"Like what?" I crossed my arms onto the counter and leaned forward.

He chuckled, "whatever you choose is fine"

"Okay, but you're paying," I giggled as I stood up off the seat.

He grabbed the keys and ran his hand through his short hair, "I know" he laughed before reaching the door.

Ryan opened the door for me as I walked over. We walked down the hall and started pondering on where we would grab a bite to eat.

After eating, we went to get ice cream then drove home. We stood in the elevator, waiting to arrive at his floor. The silence wasn't crawling under my skin and there was no tension in the small space Ryan and I shared. It was a comfortable silence that we both seemed to be enjoying.

The elevator dinged and we both walked out at the same time.

"I am so tired," he mumbled to himself while fumbling with the keys to open the door.

"Why?" I asked.

"Coach made the practice twice as long today and I am so fucking exhausted," he sighed while opening the door.

"Then you should go straight to bed,"

"It's only 9 o'clock," Ryan held the door for me as I walked in.

He walked straight to the room and I followed along. After sitting on the bed and crossing my legs, I began playing on my phone. I looked up and watched as his shirt slipped over his head. He then searched for some pants to go along. I took my eyes off him and continued my scrolling through Tumblr.

"Ry" I smiled while staring at my phone screen.

"Yeah, babe,"

I looked back up as he grabbed the green plaid pants I had seen before then removed his jeans, "Okay, tell me if this joke is funny," I laughed.

"Stop laughing and tell me," he chuckled.

"Alright. What did the baby popcorn ask momma popcorn?"

"Uhm, I don't have a clue," he smiled.

"Where is pop-corn?" I laughed.

He smiled, "Kris, I am sorry but that was the lamest joke ever," he laughed.

"Leave me alone," I giggled while closing all of my apps and put my phone on the nightstand.

After putting on his pants, Ryan got onto the bed and put one hand behind his head as the other patted the covers in search for the television remote.

I leaned over and passed it to him, "I thought you were exhausted"

"I am,"

I smiled while turning my head, "then why are you watching TV?"

"Cause I want to," he laughed while surfing through the channels.

I shook my head then faced the TV, "oh, can we watch The Amazing Spiderman?"

"Only if you get changed and lay under the covers with me,"

I laughed then climbed off the bed, "deal!"

I crossed my arms and removed my shirt. The shirt he wore was sitting on the dresser, so I pulled it over my head before taking off my jeans. After changing, I hopped into bed. When I crawled up next to him, he smiled.
