"Aye there"
I looked up and saw a shaggy redhead. He smelled like liquor and drugs. Chills ran down my spine and I stood there looking at the unknown man.
Ryan then stepped in front of me.
                              "Hello Ryan," smirked the man.
                              Where did Ryan come from?
"You know this guy?" I mumbled for only him to hear.
"Nice to see you kelvin" Ryan replied as I stood there, clueless.
"Who's this? She with you?" The man scanned me, disgusting.
                              "No, we're friends" Ryan replied.
                              FRIENDS?
                              "Is that so?" He smiled.
                              "Yeah" Ryan said.
He then turned and leaned into my ear "go to the car and wait for me there"
So first he says were friends and now he is trying to tell me what to do? That did not just happen. Anger burned passed veins and I glared at him.
It seemed as if he read my very thoughts. Seeing the rage and conflict in my eyes, he hissed "Kristen-"
"Kristen, huh?" Kelvin illuminated "Very beautiful name for a very beautiful girl, my name is Kelvin, nice to meet you Kristen. What's the rush, Ry?" He chuckled and patted Ryan's back.
                              Ryan fakily smiled back.
"Let's get me some drinks up in here!!" the red head shouted with a deep laugh.
"How do you know him?" I fumed.
After Kelvin had turned around, Ryan looked down at me with dark eyes and tersely replied "leave"
He did not just say that. Why is he acting this way? And what is making him treat me like I am a piece of crap all of a sudden?
"Here you go, you two" kelvin handed us drinks.
I was about to grab mine when Ryan's hand reached my cup along with his and took them both.
"She doesn't drink" He shot me a threatening glare and drink out of the cup. The other one was poured into the plant next to us.
What the hell? He knows I drink... What is he doing!? Questions, curiosity and rage built up by the minute.
"So how long have you two known each other?" Kelvin smirked.
                              "Well-"
"A week or two, I don't even know" Ryan chuckled.
I am not going to sit here and watch Ryan act like I am a fucking piece of crap.
"Nice. Very nice," nodded the man.
Ryan finished his drink and handed me the empty cup "go get me another drink" he winked before focusing back onto the red head.
"Asshole" I mumbled while turning around. Now I am mad, wait- not mad. Furious. This must be a freaking joke; he can't just step over me like this.
"Hey" Ryan gripped my hand "watch it"
I narrowed my eyes and snatched my hand away from him while walking away. His attitude reminded me of how he used to be before we met, maybe even worse.
All I wanted to do is get out of there. I loitered around the large house then arrived at the kitchen. Now I don't want a drink, I need one. After the cold and sour drink burned my throat the first time, I began getting used to the sensation. I sat at the bar, alone; alone at a party while my boyfriend is over there acting like a complete jerk. I sighed while bringing the cup up to my lips.
