It was now 2:30 and the man that was scheduled to come hasn’t stopped by yet. I decided to take a quick shower while waiting.
After I stepped out of the shower and wrapped my towel around my body, I walked into the living room to check my phone for any missed call. No new messages or calls. I sauntered towards the room and got dress, I put on a cute fluffy tank top and short shorts.
I sat on the couch, watched TV, and waited. I had been waiting for 2 and I was itching to go back to Ryan's place. I stood up and soon decided to just leave. Before walking out the door, I got my keys, and charged phone.  My fingers turned the knob and soon my eyes landed on a tall man standing in front of me.
"I am here to check your apartment" he said lazily as if he were one of those guys who hates their job, but needs the money.
"Well you had 2 hours to check my apartment and I have a life to live, so you are going to have to come back later" I said, already morose by the whole situation.
"I think you have misunderstood the situation ... ma'am. I am here to check your apartment. It is mandatory for the building, I must enter now" he replied with attitude.
I raised my eyebrows "excuse me?"
"It's all in the papers" he pulled out a packet and handed it to me.
I grabbed the stapled papers then glared at him. My eyes scanned the 15 pages.
"Now, may I enter?" He smirked.
I sighed and pushed the door open to let him in. I plopped into a seat at the marble table. I leaned on one arm and watched as the large man got on the ground and scanned every inch of my home. He bent down on his hands and knees to scrutinize every cabinet and piece of furniture.
I pulled my phone out and sent Ryan a text.
"When are you going to be done?" I complained.
"About...” He walked into the kitchen and leaned over my cooking counter "20 minutes"
                              "Oh god"
                              Hour Later.
He had just slammed the door and left. I got my stuff, checked my hair then finally left.
I knocked on Ryan's door and waited for a response. I crossed my arms while letting my eyes scan the empty hallway. He soon opened the door and was just about to say something, but then noticed who I was.
"Well hello" he smirked as he leaned on the doorway and let his eyes trace over me.
I giggled as I moved passed him. He laughed and closed the door behind.
"The insect guy came 2 hours late" I said as I stood at the high counter.
"How dare he rip you away from my presence?" he chuckled while walking to the fridge.
I laughed and watched as he poured me some water.
"Thanks" I smiled as he passed it to me.
He drank his water "why did he have to be there anyways?" Ryan asked.
"I don't even know. He said it was ‘mandatory’ or something" I sighed.
                              "Yeah okay" he chuckled sarcastically.
"What were you doing before I got here?" I asked.
"Waiting for my princess to come back" he smiled. He was always so sweet and I was just a blob whenever he called me his princess.
                              I blushed "no, really"
"I’m not lying" his laughed caused me to smile.
                              "You’re such a flirt"
