Name: Ares Finn
District: Two
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Weapon: Anything he can get his hands on and if nothing, his hands are a weapon.
Appearance: Dark Brown hair cut short, cocoa brown eyes that hold a dark past. He has a large build that intimidates people and a slight tan. He is only 5'8, but still a force that should not be underestimated.
Personality: He has lost a lot in his life, which has taught him how to be a fighter. It has also taught him to withdraw deep from the world, the only thing that matters being his training and books. No family. No friends. No real home. Training and reading is all he has. Works alone and has major trust issues. He is willing to work with the careers, but he refuses to be a cold blooded killer.
Strengths: Ares lives up to his name, and is known to be a quick thinker in combat. With the ability to think quickly he is able to explore all options, in a short period. He is also tough, being hard to break. He refuses to bow to anyone.
Weakness: He has major trust issues, the main reason is the government. He also has a tendency to have his heart in the right place, but his tactics are questionable. Another weakness is his flashbacks, they mostly affect him at night.
Backstory: Ares was born into a family of huge supporters of the games and all that they stood for. So it would make sense that when he was young his oldest sister Bellona would volunteer, she made it far, but returned home in wooden box, cold. Soon after Bellona, his other sister Athena volunteered to make her mark in history. She too went far and fought hard, only this time Athena made it home. They were happy, his parents were proud. Their daughter had followed in their footsteps.
The happiness was short lived though and a fire broke out in District Twos Victor Village. Three houses burned to ash, with all people still in it, almost all people. Ten year old Ares Finn, watched from town square as the smoke rose into the sky. People were screaming in terror and peacekeepers were every where, but little Ares was numb. He felt absolutely nothing as he saw his entire family burn. That was the moment he swore to himself that he would make his parents proud and one day become a victor just like them. Five homes in Victor's Village burned to the ground and families were torn apart. Having already begun his training in the academy, he was given a room there, but it was lonely. All he had were books and training. Ares also faced night terrors about that night from then on.
Token: His oldest sibling, Bellona wore it first in her games, she did not come back. Next his other older sibling, Athena wore it next giving it to her youngest sibling. She did return home, but later died in the same fire that killed his parents. Now Ares wears it. The same thick leather band with the district two emblem in the middle. The token is there so that he would never forget where he came from.
