His games messed with the tributes' and he managed to win and come back home to his sisters. Two years later when Aspen was twelve, her now eighteen year old sister was reaped into the games. She watched her sister make it to the final four tributes, but then she was brutally murdered by her ally. Aspen shut herself away from the world, only communicating with her brother. After her sister's death, Aspen had trust issues, remembering her sister's ally. She has been filled with sorrow ever since.
Token: A bracelet her brother had given to her sister, who had given it to Aspen before entering the games. Aspen never took it off. Whenever she is nervous or scared, she unintentionally fiddles with the charms.
