Name: Eliza Clarkie
District: 9
Age: Recently turned 15
Gender: Female
Weapon: Baton
Appearance: Eliza stands at about 5'5 with a pale complexion. She has freckles dusting her pale cheeks but make her look on the more adorable side. She has light green eyes that sometimes look blue in a darker lighter. She has strong arms because even though it may seem like all she does is have fun she does help out the district..(on occasions at least). Her hair a darker brown color with tints of dark red in it. It's usually all over her face and messy but she surprisingly makes it work out nicely.
Personality: She looks like a sweetheart but she's honestly not. She's like a little devil she loves to cause trouble for everyone. Except the people in the district don't mind as much as they should. They see her sweet happy face and think of her home life and just smile at her even though she just destroyed a bag of grain. She's also a really sarcastic girl but enjoys a laugh. Eliza just has this aura around her that screams out "Innocent" until you really get to know her and see how sneaky she can be.
Strengths: She's sneaky. Her sweetheart face makes people think she's only a young 15 year old girl. She's a quick thinker.
Weaknesses: She gets frustrated way to quickly. She tends to be distrusting way too easily for a young girl. She sometimes thinks way too ahead of herself. She doesn't work well with bigger weapons.
Backstory: Eliza's story is tragic one. At the age of six she lost both of her parents. No one knows how but they were found dead on the side of the street. The district allowed her older sister too take care of her since they didn't have any other living family members.
Eliza was fine the first few years but after a while she noticed the change in her sister. She always came home with red eyes, her words slurring every time she talked. Elena never raised a hand towards her but she had turned to alcohol to drown her sorrows. It seemed like she grew up too fast.
It's because of this that Eliza is how she is. She kept her "innocence" yet she loved to play around because she didn't ever want to lose her childhood she was almost like Peter Pan she never wanted to grow up. Yet because of this she keeps her guard up she never wants to burden another person like she thinks she is to her sister. People in the district always try and tell her about the parents she barely remembered. They tried to keep her happy even though she was a little devil. It's too bad she couldn't escape the demons from her house.
The year she got reaped was the year Elena completed a year sober but when Eliza saw her sister and the broken look in her eyes she knew that if she didn't make it out alive Elena wouldn't either.
Token: A purple butterfly brooch her momma gave to her a year before she died.
