*Zayn's POV*

I couldn't believe what happened! Why on earth would Lucy want me to go with her to a party? First of all, she hadn't known about my existence if it wasn't because of this English projekt. Second of all, she was the usual uptown girl, and I was the poor badboy.

We were still sitting in her room, and she sat with her nose in the books while I carefully studied her face. My eyes travelled down her arm, and ended on the wrist. That tattoo. I had no idea that a girl like her would ever have a tattoo! And that whole thing about her sister.... There was so much under the surface, than I had ever expected.

"Lucy, I can't go with you to that party" I quickly said.

"What? Why not?" She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes.

"Well... Because I have a lot to do tonight" Lie. That was a lie. I had nothing to do.

"But... Zayn I really want you to come. Pleaaaaaase go with me"

That was exactly what I wanted to hear. I wanted her to tell me how she felt about me. I stood up and took my leatherjacket, trying to push her even furtherer.

"No Lucy. I can't" My words held no feelings in them at all. I was cold as ice.

"Zayn!" She quickly stood up as well, and as I walked to the door, I felt her hand on my wrist. She turned me around, and our eyes connected. Her other hand grabbed my other wrist.

"Please Zayn" She said, while her eyes where still locked on mine. I really felt like we connected in a way that I would never had expected. She was not even my type. I usually liked girls who had dark hair and brown eyes. Someone who kinda looked like me. But Lucy was the total opposite of me.

"Well.... Okay then" I heard myself say. She smiled at me and then turned around and sat down by the books again. I stood awkwardly with my jacket in my hand before I dropped it on her bed again. I sat down again and started to flip some pages in a book without reading them.

A couple of hours later Lucy started to get ready for the party. I sat on her bed while she whimsed around, putting on makeup and throwing dresses and shoes all over her giant room. I swear it was like the size of my whole flat! I sat with my phone and looked through facebook. Nothin had happened at all.

"What do you think?" Her voice suddenly sounded, and as my eyes travelled from my screen, I first saw some tall silver glittery stillettos, then her beautiful tanned legs, and then a tight black dress that were... well pretty short. It showed her body in a perfect way. Her hair curled down her shoulders and she was wearing red lipstick. I couldn't help my jaw to fall a little.

"You look.... You look good" I said while my gaze were still all over her.

"Thank you!" She smiled at me, but then her smile faded "What are you gonna wear?" Lucy asked me and now her eyes travelled my body.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm perfectly fine in this" I said and stood up.

"But it's a party?"

"Yeah, this is my partyoutfit" I cutted her of. "Ready to go?" I looked at her again.

"Just let me get some of daddy's champagne, then we can go" She dissapeared from the room, and soon was there again with 3 bottles of expensive champagne.

"Let's go!" She laughed and dragged me out of her room, and down the stairs.

"Leon! Please give me the keys for the Audi!" She whined

Leon soon came with some carkeys which she handed me. I took them and looked at her with a confused look.

"I bet you can drive the Audi, you look strong" She smirked at me.

Was she flirting with me? This would really be an interesting night! To be honest, I couldn't wait to see the good girl getting drunk.

****

I drove to the house that Lucy guided me to. The car was amazing, I could just sit in it every day of the year. As I drove up to the house I could hear people outside. They said something about that it had to be Lucy who came in that car.

When I stood out of the car, everyone who was outside the house were looking at me. I pretended that I couldn't feel their eyes on me. Lucy came to my side with her bottles. She handed me them and then went to say hello to all her friends. I was left alone. Not that it bothered me, I knew that this would happen. She was just like everyone else.

"Zayn? Are you coming or what?" She suddenly shouted, and pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked at her, and she looked back at me from a little group og people who all looked very curiously at me. I walked up to them.

"Everyone, this is Zayn. He is in my English class and he drove me to the party" she quickly said.

"Is he your boyfriend? 'Cause if not, I'm gonna take him" A pretty drunk and pretty slutty girl said, and looked at me with hungry eyes.

"Ew no!" Lucy whined. "I would never even think about dating someone like him, he just gave me a ride..." She added and avoided my eyes.

I turned on my heels and entered the house without looking back. How could she say such thing? I mean, I wouldn't have paid any attention to it, if it wasn't because she had been begging me to come to the party, and had been flirting with me all the way in the car. I quickly spotted the bar, and got a strong drink. What was I thinking? To come to this party, who was only for the uptown kids. I was so stupid.

I sat for hours in a chair, just looking out in the air. My glass were refilled several times, and the vodka rushed through my body.

"Hey there handsome" I looked up at and saw two girls with drinks in their hands looking at me. The one was blonde, the other one was brownhaired. The blonde sat down on my lap, and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Why do you look all sad? You're way to hot to be sad" She said and tried to catch my eyes, but I avoided her. The other one started to massage my shoulders and bent down, to whisper in my ear.

"We could make you happy, you know?" She said and sucked my earlobe.

My thoughts were not even in the room. I totally ignored the girls untill someone pushed the blonde one off me.

"Get off him, you sluts!" Lucy spat. The girls quickly dissappeared. I didn't look at Lucy. She could go to hell, I didn't care at all.

"What do you want?" I coldly asked her and looked at her with hate.

"I want to talk to you. Come quickly." She said and took my wrist, but I pushed her hand away.

"I don't wanna talk to you." I stood up, and started to find my way through the crowd to the door. When I came into the fresh air, I instantly started to walk in the direction where I assumed my flat where. When I couldn't hear the music from the party anymore, I suddenly saw Lucy walking by my side.

"What is it that you don't understand?" I stopped and looked down at her. Her face was lit up my the citylights. She still looked perfectly beautiful.

"Why are you so mad at me?" She asked like nothing had happened. I looked at her with almost disgust in my eyes.

"Why I'm ma- WHY I'M MAD?!" I turned so I faced her, and my height towered over the blond girl.

"Maybe I'm fucking mad because you begged me to go with you to this party, you flirt like hell with me and then you fucking act like I'm someone you would never even talk to! What the fuck is it with you?!" I shouted down at her. I stepped a little closer, and our faces were only centimeters from touching.

"You little twat" I whispered through clenched teeth, before she slapped me right in the face.

She looked up at me with tears in her eyes, and anger written all over her face.

"Don't you ever dare calling me that again! You don't know anything about me, you stupid streetboy!" At the last part of the sentence her voice cracked and she quickly turned around and left me on the streets.

I looked after her as I let my hand run through my hair. I suddenly felt the light rain coming down, and slowly I began to walk the opposite direction of Lucy, who were now out of sight.
