Super High School Level Ninja Zuka Fujibayashi's POV

I heard a scream come from one of the dorm rooms and shivered slightly. I shook it off and brushed a few black strands of my hair that had broken free of my messy bun. I walked back to my own room to drown out the screams that followed more and more with music.

I faced myself in the mirror once I had arrived. I looked over my purple ninja uniform with the pink belt. I also stared at the blue bandana around my neck, the paisley swirling and distracting me from hearing somebody entering.

"You the roommate?"

The voice was monotone and feminine. I tried to ignore the shiver it sent down my spine. I turned to see that somebody new had entered.

It was a girl, which I suspected by the voice's sound. She had a headband with feathers that spiked up and fell down her hair. Said hair was black and tipped with purple and red. She wore pretty much all black with a purple poncho over the top of her shirt. Her skin looked like sun kissed sand.

"Y-yeah," I answered, somewhat intimidated by this mystery girl (though I would never admit such to anybody for any reason at all).

"Chiyosu Sunadu. You?" the girl asked, holding out her hand to shake seriously. I still hadn't detected much emotion in her voice...

"Zuka Fujibayashi," I introduced, shaking her hand just as solemnly. I didn't know how many words I'd be able to force from the lips of this girl...

Chiyosu walked across the room and proceeded to sit down on the unoccupied bed. She sighed and tossed her hair back, making her seem at least a tad snotty.

I took a seat on the bed where I had begun to unload my stuff. Might as well keep unpacking if Chiyosu didn't want to talk (which I assumed she didn't do much of).

I began toying around with my stuff, pulling out my favorite katana from my suitcase. I proceeded to set it on the shelf that hung above my bed.

I flopped back onto my bed and expected to be surrounded by silence for the rest of the day. Classes started tomorrow, so I might as well enjoy the last little bit of freedom I had.

I closed my eyes and prepared to take a nap, as traveling here had been quite the trial. I sighed dreamily and came close to falling asleep.

BANG BANG BANG!

I half-screamed and groaned. I proceeded to stand and stomp to the door. Who in the world knocked that loudly?!

I opened the door, practically throwing it against the wall in my anger. I expected to see one of the burlier students on the other side, but instead...

Two girls stood on the other side. One had pink hair and the other was a honey blonde. The pink haired girl had her head in her hands while the honey blonde girl (who was also considerably shorter) smiled at me. "Hello!" the smaller girl sang.

"H-hello..." I said unsurely. "What are you...?"

"We just wanted to get a look at the scene!" the honey blonde exclaimed.

"More like get ready for impersonations," the pink haired girl muttered from behind her hands.

"Let the people in already. I bet it's getting extra tiring standing at the door," Chiyosu called from behind me.

I sighed after turning to face the two newcomers once again. "Come on in," I instructed, stepping to the side for them to enter.

"Who the heck are you?" Chiyosu asked, voice monotonous.

"Chouko and Ayameko. We live in the dorm right next door," the honey blonde answered.

"Better that you came here than the other way," Chiyosu muttered.

"Huh?" I asked.

"The dorm on the other side belongs to a creepy chick who scared her roommate so much that she ran off to complain to Principal Kirigiri," Chiyosu explained.

"Freaky..." Chouko shivered.

"You guys want to go look around a little more?" I asked.

Ayameko nodded. "It would do us well to get to learn the environment a little better."

Super High School Level Shinobi Xindel Fujimoto's POV

When I got to my dorm room, I looked around and realized that there was one more person in the room, though they weren't here yet (though their stuff was covering the bed that had already been claimed). I walked to the opposing bed and took a seat.

I began twiddling my thumbs. There was nothing all that exciting to do. Now that I had finished the prank involving the Super High School Level Impersonation Master, things seemed a little... Dull. It's funny how her presence had unsettled me so much, and now, I wished for the excitement to be brought back into my existence.

The door opened to show yet another newcomer. It was a boy wearing headphones and black and white shorts. He had a black hoodie, the same color as his shoes, with a golden zipper on the hoodie and laces on aforementioned shoes. He had black hair, dark skin, and hazel eyes that practically pierced your soul.

"Sup," he said simply, walking to his bed and removing a pair of gloves from a box before stuffing them into a pocket of his shorts. "You must be my roommate."

I nodded slowly, though I didn't say anything further. Talking was never my forte, so I didn't want to mess it up with the person I'd be spending the rest of my school life with.

"Jon Shushiro," the boy said, extending his hand for me to shake.

"X-Xindel Fujimoto..." I introduced quietly. I shook his hand until 'Jon' took it away.

"I'm going to go look around the school a little more," he told me. "You want to come?"

I hesitantly nodded. I wanted a little quiet, which I hadn't gotten much of, but the wish to go and investigate my new school further overpowered such.

My heart skipped a beat when a scream cut through the air like a knife, leaving me paler than snow.
