Chapter 35~Date Stoof Happens

Super High School Level Horror Akane Misaki's POV

With a devious smirk, spreading on my lips, I pulled up a seat at the table filled with all of those little hopeless romantics. Alexis followed suit not long after I took the lead.

Chouko stared at us with wide eyes before sighing. "I can't believe this is happening..."

"Believe it," I smirked. Alexis and I sat down and smirked at the group. All of them looked completely dumbfounded. Seeing those looks on their faces brought me so much joy! You have no idea how happy that makes me!

They were expressions of pure horror, if you know what I mean!

"What are you doing?" Zuka asked, glaring at Alexis and I in anger.

I smiled. "We're coming to the romantic date. I though that you guys were doing fun things like this," I said simply.

"Yeah, but you weren't invited," Sabastian snapped. "We don't invite complete psychos to have dinner with us. You might be insane, but we most certainly are not."

"No need to get all rude, Sabastian. We made a small mistake," Alexis smirked.

"A few big mistakes, more like," Chouko muttered, rolling her eyes dramatically.

"Yeah. So get lost," Sabastian snarled.

"Is the prince getting all mad at us?" I asked Alexis.

"It seems that he is, Akane," Alexis told me.

"Then why don't we stick around? Maybe it'll make him feel better about his sad little life," I suggested.

"That's a grand idea!" Alexis exclaimed, taking a seat in the chair he had pulled up.

Everybody from the table frowned at us deeply, anger more than a little obvious in their eyes. They must have really been mad... And here I though that they would at least show a little effort in welcoming us.

Oh, who am I kidding?! I knew that they would be this hostile, and I did it anyways! It was great!

"Don't let us ruin your small talk, continue talking," I told the group.

Jon glared at us. "You ruined it anyways. Now, could you please take a hint and leave us alone? As that gangster kid likes to say, make like a tree and leaf?"

"I don't think that he says that. He curses instead of saying leaf because he's a gangster kid," Chouko muttered.

"He's almost as violent as I am," I laughed.

Nobody else laughed with me. They stared at me angrily instead.

"What did I do?" I asked innocently.

"Everything!" All of them (except for the all too prim Ayameko) had started yelling and complaining at once. Ayameko was drinking from her water glass with a superior calmness, which made anger flare inside of me. She didn't seem to care about what was going on.

I hate it when people keep cool heads when I'm trying to do naughty things.

Super High School Level Actor Chiyosu Sunadu's POV

I admit that I was enjoying my time with the Matsuki twins. Even though Ai was shooting me sour glances (then again, she does that to everybody, and I was no exception), talking with Ryo was rather nice. We didn't usually get time to talk like that.

I walked out of the restaurant with the twins after we finished eating. I had come to watch for my classmates doing overly romantic (and disgusting) things, but I ended up finding love myself. Huh. How ironic.

Wait... Did I just admit that I like Ryo?

Don't tell anybody I just said that. Not unless you want to get a slap to the face.

"Did you have a nice time?" Ryo asked me. He was acting strange, I must admit... Was something wrong with him? Maybe Ai was starting to scare him. How he's gone this long without being scared by her is beyond me, so that's always a possibility.

"I had a wonderful time. I quite enjoyed hanging out with you two, as a matter of fact. We should hang out together more often, don't you agree?" I smiled, turning to Ai.

Ai snorted to show that she disapproved, though I could tell that she was having fun, too. "Of course not..."

"No need to lie, Ai," Ryo told his sister. "I know that you're having fun. You don't have to hide it. You're no good at it, anyways."

Ai rolled her eyes. "Whatever..."

We got back to Hope's Peak not long after. "I suppose that I can see you all later," I smiled. "Maybe we could hang out again tomorrow. It's only Saturday, after all."

"I like the sound of that," Ryo grinned. Ai turned on her heels and walked away, leaving just Ryo and I in the hallway.

I didn't really know what I was doing next. All I remember doing is leaning in towards Ryo's cheek and letting my lips touch his skin. I ran away shortly after as Ryo called after me desperately.

The reality of what I had done hit once I arrived back in my dorm room.

I had just kissed Ryo.

That was something only romantically involved people do.

Which means that...

I'm starting to get romantically involved with Ryo.

Oddly enough, I didn't hate the idea of being this intimate with him. My cheeks were bright red (so I would need a scrap ton of concealer to cover my blush). I guess that I actually did like him.

I sat down on my bed with a dreamy sigh. "I can't believe this is happening..." I murmured. I let a smile appear on my face as I laid back down. I couldn't wait for the next time I saw him.

Because I really did have a crush on Ryo Matsuki.
