Super High School Level Prosecutor Elec Daegana's POV
"Well... Yeah. We are going to tell on you," I told Chiyosu, confused at her question. Why ask something like that when the answer was so blatantly clear? She was a criminal, and as a well respected member of the law, she was going down.
And not because she attacked Yazu.
"Then I should tell you one more thing... I had an accomplice," Chiyosu smirked. "You should probably mention her as well when you get me busted for all of this stuff."
"Who is it?!" Chouko exclaimed, looking up and down Chiyosu with an invisible magnifying glass.
"Akane," Chiyosu told us simply, tossing some of her hair backwards over her shoulder.
"Akane? Seriously?" Sabastian asked. "I always knew that she was a little off her rocker, but going this far? That's insane!"
"What can I say? Kids will do tons of insane things to get recognition. This is no exception to that thought, it seems," Chiyosu said, a tiny smirk on her lips. Her deceitful personality is starting to get on my nerves...!
"Okay. Let's go talk to Akane about what Chiyosu just told us," Chouko suggested.
"What if she's lying just to get somebody else in trouble?" Yazu asked, frowning. "It sounds like something she would do, that's for sure."
"Let's not worry about that right now. Let's just temporarily take her word for it and go talk to Akane," Chouko said. "Come on, guys."
Super High School Level Judge Ayameko Etsuko's POV
We arrived at Akane's room not long after, bidding our hostile farewells to Chiyosu before walking Akane's way. I knocked on her door, and then everybody (with the exception of Xindel, who seemed to be the only other person capable of sticking it out through moments like this) hid behind me like they had at Chiyosu's door. Yazu was shaking, as far as I could tell.
Akane opened the door with a dramatic roll of her eyes. "What is it? I don't have all day, you know."
"We were told by Chiyosu that you were helping out in the vandalizing crimes around the school. Is this true?" Xindel asked, glaring at her.
"Why would she tell you that?" Akane asked, trying to hide her nerves. She was twitching ever so slightly, which I still saw. Not ready to throw in the towel and admit defeat yet, it seems.
"Because it's true, right?!" Chouko yelled. "You did all that stuff, did you not?! Dirty, rotten, no life, criminal!!"
"I don't appreciate your accusing me," Akane snarled. "Good day."
And then, the door flew shut, blasting a tiny gust of wind at all of us.
I sighed. "Let's give her a little bit of time to cool off before we talk to her again," I suggested. Nobody objected, so we all walked our separate ways.
Super High School Level Actor Chiyosu Sunadu's POV
I ended up stomping my way over to Akane's room shortly afterwards. She had texted me about talking, and I was fully prepared for the yelling I was going to get.
"Why did you sell me out?!" Akane roared, anger flashing in her eyes.
"Why are you still doing this stuff?!" I asked. It's not like I intended to say something that would express my innermost feelings, but sometimes, I don't have complete or total control over what comes out of my mouth.
Akane paused at my sudden outburst, thinking over what I could have potentially meant. "What?"
"I've been doing all this stuff because I wanted to get you to like me! But instead, you call me down here to yell at me for just trying to make a friend!" I shouted.
Akane's eyes went wide. "I-I was going to break it to you that I didn't want to do this stuff anymore, too... If I had known you had felt this way, I wouldn't have gone along with all of your plans..." Akane admitted, looking down.
I sighed. "Okay, then. Let's make a quick deal."
"What is it?" Akane asked.
"We stop our vandalizing habits now and act like it never happened," I proposed.
Akane didn't hesitate in shaking my hand with a genuine smile, one of the first I'd ever seen in her. "Deal," she agreed.
Super High School Level MMA Fighter Jon Shushiro's POV
When Xindel walked into the room again, he looked a little bit peeved. "Are you okay?" Zuka asked (since I had let her chill in my room because of the whole 'Chiyosu Sunadu is annoying' thing).
Xindel nodded. "Yeah," he told us simply before sitting down on his bed. He pulled a katana from the shelf above his bed and seized a white rag on his bedside table before wiping the blade down silently and solemnly. No matter how hard I tried, I guess he wouldn't stop being serious.
Nobody spoke for a few minutes after Xindel's obvious lie, but Zuka broke the silence that hung over us like a gloomy cloud. "Jon?" Zuka began, shooting me a mischievous glance.
"Yes?" I questioned back. "Is something wrong?"
"Could I maybe... Hang out here tonight? Since Chiyosu is probably going to be sulking for the rest of the day back in our room?" Zuka asked shyly.
I nodded her way with a smile. "That's fine by me. What do you think, Xindel?"
Xindel (as usual) didn't provide me with a reply, so I turned to Zuka with a smile. "I guess that's fine," I agreed.
I smiled widely, and Zuka returned the gesture. It made me really happy...
Does this mean I have a crush?!
