Chapter 21~Discoveries About Insane Actors

Super High School Level Prosecutor Elec Daegana's POV

I could feel myself being shaken awake when I started coming to after my surprise nap. I could no longer feel weights tugging on my eyelids, so I went on the assumption that my sleeping had helped my tired form recover after carrying Zuka away from Akane and Chiyosu. But who was it that wouldn't stop rocking my shoulders back and forth now...?

"Elec! You're awake!"

I found myself meeting the eyes of a certain blue haired scientist, who was grinning at me madly. Yazu leaned over and hugged me as tight as was humanly possible, so a few choking sounds escaped my lips. His grip was a lot harder than you would think it to be...

"Yeah, I'm okay..." I grumbled back to Yazu, who was still smiling violently at me. Was he okay or did he have too much candy? "What about Zuka?"

Yazu turned around and looked at Zuka, who was still asleep on the bed I had set her down on... However long ago it had been. Her expression that had once been pained was now much more relaxed, so I assumed the ache was subsiding as far as her head injury from her time with Chiyosu was recovering. Relief flooded me knowing that Chiyosu hadn't returned to attack her for whatever reason she had done it in the first place. 

"Do you know what happened to her?" Yazu asked me in concern.

I nodded. "I was just walking through the girls' dorm room hallway when I saw Zuka slumped against the wall near Chiyosu and Akane," I explained. "I'm not sure what happened, but I suppose that one of them, most likely our good friend Chiyosu, attacked her for some reason, which I do not know of," I explained to Yazu, who was frowning more by the second. 

"Dang..." Yazu muttered, shaking his head. "I always knew that Chiyosu had issues of some sort, but I never expected her to be like this..."

"I didn't either..." I frowned. "Wait!"

"What is it?" Yazu asked me, looking me in the eyes with an expression of pure concern. 

"What if the people who attacked you were Chiyosu and/or Akane!?" I exclaimed in shock. "It would make sense!"

Yazu gasped. "That... That could make sense...!" he agreed with eyes the size of saucers. "But why would they do something like that?! I don't get it!"

"Maybe there's something else about them that we don't know..." I whispered, a thousand ideas racing through my head. What did this mean?! What if Chiyosu and Akane were criminals of some variation?! 

"This is crazy...." Yazu muttered, shaking his head not in denial, but in shock. "I didn't think that either of them would do something this... Insane... Inhuman..."

"This is Chiyosu we're talking about," I reminded him. "The one who gave the entire class detention for getting in the mood to party."

Yazu nodded. "We should get a few people behind us as backup and go and ask those two about it," he suggested.

I nodded. "Agreed."

Super High School Level Horror Akane Misaki's POV

It was a while after Zuka had mysteriously gone missing (though Chiyosu told me not to worry about her escape) that I felt guilt tug at my mind and heart. I had just let her follow through with something like this without stopping her! How could I have been so stupid?!

"Come on." Chiyosu's chilling voice cut through my numb mind like a knife, causing me to look up from my thoughts.

"Yes?" I asked her.

"Let's go vandalize the school's stupid decorations now. Duh," Chiyosu explained to me with a roll of her eyes.

After seeing what she had done to Zuka, I felt guilty about tagging along with her when she might do something as insane as that. Well, not guilty so much as afraid. Afraid that if I turned down her offer that she'd attack me too so that I couldn't tell anybody about what she had dragged me into doing these past few months.

"Fine..." I whispered.

Chiyosu clapped in mock excitement and seized my wrist. She yanked me out of  our room and to a hallway that was now empty since the typical din of the day had ceased as students settled into their rooms. She turned to me with a smile of pride and glee at what we were about to follow through with. "Let's get started," she smiled happily. I nodded in fear and set to work at her commands.

Super High School Level Shinobi Xindel Fujimoto's POV

After Chouko ran off, I gave chase through the hallways of the school. I don't think either of us knew where we were going at all, so we just aimlessly wandered around, waiting for an idea to spring to mind.

Chouko collided with a certain person who rode atop stilts most of the time. I gasped as Elec tripped and fell on top of Chouko followed by me. I let out a tiny squeal as I tried to escape, only to be caught and trapped underneath his body weight.

I groaned gently and pushed myself up once Elec had gotten off of Chouko and I. "S-sorry!" Elec apologized immediately, eyes most likely wide from behind his mask. "I didn't mean to!"

"It's okay," Chouko said, shrugging his apology off as if it were a fly on her shoulder. She got to her feet and extended a hand for me to help me up. "Anyways, why were you running?"

Yazu soon appeared around the corner. "We found something about Chiyosu and Akane," he began.

Elec nodded. "Yeah. While I was in the nurse's, we figured something out about the two of them," he told us.

I chose not to ask about why he was in the nurse's office until later.

"What did you find out?" Chouko asked them with wide eyes.

Elec paused. "It's a long story. Let's just say that we're going to need your help to pull off our plan."

I thought I had something to say in this author's note other than would people please stop shipping me with somebody at school who isn't even my type for lack of a better word like oh my gosh you don't know about me so please don't-
