Sabine entered the small changing cabin and carelessly dropped the rucksack. She pressed her hands against the wall and banged her head against it several times.
Come the fuck on, I was so CLOSE!
She growled in annoyance as she pushed herself off the wall and began to get changed.
"Can't a girl just have some fun without being interrupted? Gah, I should've said we'd stay for THREE hours..."
She slipped out of her swimwear and began to fit herself into her bodysuit, attaching the pieces of Mandalorian armour as she did so.
"A waste of a condom too, I only got one more..."
She pulled her trousers on and worked to tie her boots to her feet.
"It doesn't help that I teased the shit out of myself..."
She stood up and adjusted her armour, she then flexed her limbs to stretch her suit to be more comfortable against her skin.
With a sigh, she stuffed her swimwear into her rucksack, slung it on her back and stepped out the cabin. The changing rooms were beginning to become more filled with new visitors to the synthetic beach.
I don't care if all these people saw us doing it, I just wanted to friggin do it.
Zeb and Ezra were standing around in the reception area when Sabine emerged from the door on the right of the counter. She nodded to them and they began to walk through the large corridor out the building.
"Thank you for your visit" TC-213 said to them as they left.
Sabine was walking some distance ahead of Zeb and Ezra, they could both feel the frustration leaping off of her body language.
Zeb nudged Ezra and leaned over to his side slightly.
"What's wrong with her?" He asked quietly. "She seems pretty mad".
Ezra opened his mouth to answer, scratching the back of his head.
"Uh, yeah! She seems pretty unhappy...dunno why...think we should just leave her alone, y'know?". Ezra knew why she was mad, but he couldn't tell Zeb why.
The Lasat decided not to dig deeper and left it be. He just hoped that this wasn't another unpleasant predicament relating to Sabine's encounter with the Grand Inquisitor.
"Girls had it rough", the man thought. "But she can pull through anything, she's tough like that".
Kanan was filthy when he climbed out the ships floor exteriors, his hands were mucky and his clothes were stained in different colours of black and brown. A pleased Hera was looked down at him with her arms crossed.
"Great work, spectre one" she smiled and kneeled down next to Kanan who was lying on the floor, coughing his lungs out. "Now we have you to thank for our engines being more efficient!"
Kanan sat up and wiped his face with his hands, but he only smeared more muck on himself.
"Do I at least get a kiss?" He asked as he got on his feet and faced Hera. The Twi'lek smiled at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Kiss me? Kanan, your filthy! Go get cleaned up and I'll see what I can do to make you feel happier".
Kanan gave a final cough and nodded, he went into his cabin to get clean and he was curious to know what Hera meant by 'making him feel better'.
"Whatever it is..." He thought. "Better be worth it. I don't want a simple pat on the head".
When she heard the noisy clanging of climbing, Hera saw Sabine, Zeb and Ezra were back from their trip.
"You're all back! Did you have fun?" She asked curiously with open arms. She had envisioned that Zeb would've been buried under sand by the two teenagers, that would be funny.
Sabine sighed as she pressed the button of her cabin door, sliding it open.
"Uh, yeah! We stayed for two hours...I gotta try and keep this tan up, y'know?", she forced a smile on her face. "It was fun. I'm just gonna...put my stuff away".
They nodded and Sabine went into her cabin as Hera went to talk with Zeb and Ezra.
The Mandalorian opened her rucksack and stuffed her swimwear back into her drawer. She then pulled out the sketchbook and looked at it for a moment, studying the draft she had drawn to change her look.
She dropped the rucksack and held the sketchbook in both her hands, her eyes not peeling from it.
Hmm...I think maybe it's time.
She looked at herself in her mirror and shook her head, letting her hair sway. She liked the indigo and orange contrast...but she was interested in trying something new.
She placed her sketchbook to one side and ran a finger across her breastplate.
And I think this could do with a re-makeover too...
She thought about it for a long while, then reached a consensus.
