"Look, it wasn't my fault that Spectre Six still sucks at Jedi mind tricks!" Kanan yelled out over the comlink to a displeased Sabine.
Oh for fu....Kanan, he's YOUR pupil!
The Jedi and his Padawan flew in the Phantom and attempted to re-attach with the Ghost, all the while several TIE fighters were taking shots at them. The Ghost had taken an uncomfortably unusual amount of hits, but thankfully the shields were holding and Zeb was quite competent at manning the upper cannon and fending off the attackers.
"Forget that right now!" Sabine yelled back as she twirled the Ghost to avoid more incoming fire and putting off Zeb's aim. "Just get back here!"
Zeb, irritated at Sabine's questionable movements of the ship, began his own yelling into the comlink channel.
"Keep it still, Spectre Five!" He said with annoyance. "I can't...hit them!"
"I'm trying to make sure we don't get blown up into space-dust!" Sabine defended herself, easing up on the jerky movements.
"We'll get blown up regardless if we don't blow them up first!" The Lasat told her, taking a shot at a TIE fighter and destroying it.
Urgh, this would be so much easier if Hera was here.
"Almost...there..." Kanan said dramatically as the Phantom got closer to the Ghost. "Almost...theeere..."
A TIE fighter got a lucky shot in and hit the Ghost again, making it rumble and putting off Kanan's docking attempt. Zeb then swiftly returned fire on the Imperial starfighter and blew it to smithereens.
"Where's that escort team?" Sabine loudly questioned.
"We are moving to your position, Phoenix Leader" A Rebel pilot informed the temporarily promoted Mandalorian as several A-Wings swooped in from behind the TIE fighters and opened fire on them.
Phew, that was getting rough.
It was going to get rougher. The Ghost picked up new enemy signals from behind the A-Wings. The Empire didn't want to lose this weapons shipment, it would seem.
All the more reason for us to succeed here, then.
"Phoenix Three, you've got five Imperials behind you!" Sabine informed the Rebel.
The A-Wings scattered and drew fire from several angles, away from the Ghost.
C'mon, how much longer can this calculation go on for? Ugh, Hera could do it in half the time.
As Kanan continued to attempt docking, Sabine saw two Imperial starfighters zoom past the Ghost and turn around for a barrage. The Mandalorian could see that both fighters were of the Advanced TIE model.
Fuck.
"Zeeeeb!" She warned.
"I know, I know!" He quickly replied, wheeling the cannon around and taking shots the incoming Imperials. Both Starfighters wisely moved out of the way and gave Sabine more space.
"Do you feel that?" Ezra asked Kanan from behind on the seats of the Phantom as Kanan continued concentrating. "It's those guys!"
"Damn Inquisitors track us everywhere, now" Kanan thought rather annoyed.

"We can track them anywhere, now" Seventh Sister said with a smile as she and her partner steered their fighters around for another run while avoiding fire from A-Wings and the Corellian freighter. "We've gotten quite attached to those pretty boys, wouldn't you say?"
The Inquisitors were now able to track the Jedi using the Force, having been exposed to their presence for so long.
"Hm, I think I can also sense that devious Mandalorian onboard..." She continued, shutting her eyes for a moment. "How I would enjoy to rip her insolent tongue out..."
A bolt of energy hit the Fifth Brother's starfighter, but the structure held. Unlike the regular TIE's, the advanced models were equipped with deflector shields. Suitable ships for the more valued Imperial.
"We are to destroy the Rebels without mercy" He told his partner, growing tiresome of the Mirialan's tendency to play with her victims.
"It did not prove beneficial last time we met the Mandalorian" He thought. "But a broken limb, she was left with"
However, now his arm was broken. As if it was a strike of karma, the Togruta he and Seventh Sister faced had broken his arm below the elbow. He was still fit for duty, with none of his joints being broken or misplaced...but the casket around his arm was quite an obstacle for him.
"I would very much like to break her neck in return" He thought.
"I do not sense Ahsoka Tano on board, however..." Seventh Sister added. "Surely, Lord Vader would not mind swift destruction of these particular Jedi?"
The Inquisitor's had sent word of Ahsoka Tano's continued existence to the Sith, and their master was to come to the Outer Rim to participate in this hunt for the Jedi. The Inquisitors were quite certain that the Jedi would soon be outmatched.
"And maybe he'll finally grant my deserving title?" Seventh Sister hoped. "I would love to be the grandest of the Inquisitors"
"We must first actually manage to destroy them..." Fifth Brother informed her.
They zoomed close for another run against the Corellian freighter.
