I would've figured an Imperial weapons transport would be carrying actual...weapons.
Sabine investigated the eerily quiet corridors. The lights were dim, the air felt cold and she felt so...alert. It was like she was in some sort of horror movie.
She could...feel a familiar pair of eyes on the back of her head. All this...it felt...wrong.
"I didn't think it'd actually work" A recognisable voice called to her.
Sabine jerked her head to look behind herself, and before her stood the Grand Inquisitor. He smiled and activated a single scarlet blade, moving towards her. His blade gave off a slight red mist in the dark and hummed menacingly.
"The Inquisitor? What are you doing here!?" She yelled out.
The Mandalorian quickly opened fire on him, and he effortlessly blocked her shots, continuing his slow walk towards her. As she was shooting...she felt...this was all...this happened before.
She slowed her pace of firing, her eyes become unfocused and her brain was distracted. When she halted firing altogether and held her head with her palm, the Pau'an stopped in front of her and looked down at her.
"It does seem familiar, doesn't it?" He said. "You certainly aren't running as much as you did previously in this situation".
Sabine shook her head. Was this real? She tried to think hard, it felt...too familiar and too...unreal. She felt that she had done this before...
"Is this...is this real?" The girl asked. "No...this can't be real..."
The Inquisitor chuckled and deactivated his lightsaber.
"Perhaps it isn't. Or perhaps it is. It depends on you...did this happen?" He said to her.
It...it did. Wait...yes! This DID happen...this was the same ship...the same Inquisitor...she looked down at herself, her armour was pink. She removed her helmet and pulled a section of her hair down to her eyes...blue and orange.
This was the place I got raped.
"So...this is all a dream, then..." She realised. "Yeah...yeah, that's it! I have indigo and turquoise hair now...my armour is now orange...and you..."
She pointed up at the Inquisitor fearlessly.
"You're dead!" She called out. "I tore out your throat with my own teeth!"
The Pau'an nodded.
"Since you seem so familiar with this period of time, I assume you know what happens next?" He asked her, his face close to her's and his icy breath chilling the tip of her nose. "I wonder...have you changed enough to respond...differently?"
Sabine looked at him, outraged. What was he implying...that...she'd like getting raped? There's nothing that could ever happen that would cause her to ever even consider enjoying such a thing.
"What?" She questioned. "What do you mean by that? You think I'd like getting...fucked against my will?"
The Inquisitor chuckled. He brought a hand across her cheek, and cupped her chin. The girl grunted and rolled her eyes away from him.
"Suppose not..." He admitted. "This is your dream, after all. What goes through your mind at this moment is what effects the outcome here..."
Sabine huffed. Dreams were scripted events, what happens in her head is something she can't alter. At least, that's how she thought it worked.
"Then I'm just gonna let this whole thing play out" She told him. "If I'm supposed to be crying out for your dick here, well there's nothin I can do about it. Judging by the way I'm responding so far though...that's unlikely".
The Inquisitor removed his hand from her face and raised a brow.
"Do you hate me, my dear?" He asked intrigued. "Or did you come to miss me after the unfortunate day of my death?"
The Rebel laughed and stared into his yellow eyes.
"Miss you?" She spouted. "Miss you? You're nothing but an afterthought to me now, I've gotten over what happened. If you're hoping to bring me back to traumatic mess I was before, think again!".
The Inquisitor tightly gripped her jaw and flashed his sharp teeth at her.
"That's where you're wrong, my dear" he assured her. "There's not a day, not an hour or even a minute that's went by where you haven't thought about me and the events of this day...you can pretend that you don't care anymore, but I know that you'll never be the same".
She swallowed hard. Perhaps he was right, she was different...but she assumed that, in the end...some good things did come out of it. If it weren't for what happened...maybe she wouldn't have gotten as close as she did to Ezra...and...she really appreciated her new relationship with him.
"I may be dead..." He continued. "But I've left a mark on this world, on your friends...in you".
His words set something off inside her, like a grenade. An unknown urge made Sabine jump on the Pau'an and tear into his throat again with her teeth. It felt effortless, like her own teeth was as sharp as his...the man wasn't screaming however...he was laughing.
Die, die! Fucking DIE!
The familiar taste of his rusty blood filled her mouth and her face became painted with blood. As she dug into him, she felt the mans body disappear from under herself and the scenery around her changed.
