"I know I'm probably the last person who should be complaining, but do we not have...yknow, rebel stuff to do?" Sabine asked Hera as she and Ezra passed into the bridge.
Hera, her fingers trekking along the flight controls of her ship, turned her head to the two teenagers and sighed as she crossed her arms and turned her chair to face them.
"Kanan says we have to keep a low profile until some of the heat from the Empire cools off, I know there are always people in need but there won't be any more help from us at all if we don't at least help ourselves too. You know what I mean?"
Sabine nodded as she took one of the seats and Ezra took another.
"I get what ya mean, I wonder if Kanan will teach me any new Jedi tricks today...he's been very stressed lately". Ezra said as his voice dropped off.
Sabine wondered if she was giving Kanan the respect he deserved. She felt bad about what she told him the day before about teenagers and how he never truly lived a normal life, it's not like Sabine was normal anyways. How many Mandolorians do you see that take the time to leave a pretty explosion of colour to make the world a more cosmetically happy place?
And get raped...
Kanan and Zeb entered the bridge, Zeb behind Kanan. They were arguing whether Kanan was using his Jedi powers to cheat at the game they had just played.
"Zeb, I wasn't cheating! You lost fair and square!" "Cheating scoundrel! You know you wouldn't stand a chance in a fair game!" "You know that isn't true!"
Hera yelled out both their names and they both flinched in fear of Hera's terrifying presence. Sabine and Ezra couldn't help but laugh.
"Clearly you two need to get occupied with something! You can start with cleaning out the Ghosts engines!" She stood up and took Zeb by his big ear, she then led him out of the bridge as he yelled in protest. Kanan pointed at him and gave a goofy look as he waved him goodbye.
"And do not think for a second that you're not going to be left of the hook either, Kanan!" Hera's frightening words made the Jedi's arms flop and head hanging.
Ezra stood up and went after Hera, not wanting to miss out on the drama.
Kanan flopped down on a chair and turned to Sabine, who couldn't help but happily grin at the events that unfolded.
Oh these guys, I love them...
"So Sabine, my good friend, what do you want the marvellous crew of the Ghost to get involved with today?" He said to her as he crossed his arms and placed a foot over his leg.
Sabine raised an eyebrow at him.
"You're putting me in charge today?" She said with slight enthusiasm.
Kanan laughed and shook his head, and Sabine gave him pouty look.
"Hah! No way, but you can make a reasonable request as long as it doesn't involve engaging the Empire under these scary times".
Sabine slumped in her chair and placed a finger under her chin.
Hmm, well...there are a few things I could use...
"Could we head to the Lothal markets in town? There are some things I'm running low on". She sat up and counted the fingers on her hand as she listed her needs.
"A new sketchbook, some pigments, explosive gel..."
Kanan nodded as he looked to the planet of Lothal.
"That's reasonable, we won't have to get dirty with the Empire and we can make a few quick transactions. It also gives me an opportunity to train Ezra in the fields and I may even get to avoid Hera's wrath. So yeah...sounds good to me."
Sabine smiled at him and he to her. They turned there head slightly to the sound of ruckus outside the bridge, the source of ruckus being Zeb growing increasingly frustrated.
"As soon as Zeb's done with his much needed punishment". He told her with a grin.

The Ghost hovered over the fields of Lothal, the wildlife retreated from the loud ship as it made its landing.
The crew were all sitting at the bridge, Zeb looking particularly messy.
"Alright, me and Ezra are going to be doing some Jedi practices. Meanwhile Sabine will go to pick up supplies for us, as well as making some personal purchases for herself since I'm so nice" Kanan told the crew as he leaned forwards to them all.
Chopper loudly called to Hera, who smiled at Zeb when it was done talking to her.
"Well since Kanan is going to be busy, I guess that means you're the only one eligible to finish cleaning the ship!" She told Zeb, who raised his arms over his head and left the bridge, mumbling curses to Kanan. Chopper followed Zeb as it poked his legs, making him increasingly mad.
"Chopper!!!"
Kanan, Ezra and Sabine went to the lower level of The Ghost and walked out to the fresh air of Lothal. Sabine put her helmet over her head while Kanan and Ezra took out their lightsabers.
"Don't take too long Sabine". Kanan called to her. "I mean it. Please...honour my trust in you".
Sabine nodded to him as she felt the credits in her pocket. She imitated Ezra from earlier and placed her hand over her heart while made a small salute.
Ezra watched Sabine as her figure got smaller the more distance she put between them. Ezra wasn't happy, Hera had to land the ship about a 20 minute walk from the city the make sure they wouldn't be too easy to spot.
Kanan noticed his studying of the fields Sabine walked across.
"I'm worried about her too, Ezra" Kanan began. "She's been...different lately".
Ezra knew something that Kanan didn't, he wanted to just blurt out and tell him everything. He's the crews leader, if anyone should know it should be him. But he made a promise to Sabine, a promise he might have to break...for her sake.
