Something's wrong. No matter how hard I try, Spencer just pushes me away. Like I'm nothing. All I want to do is help her, but she doesn't want it.

Right now, I'm driving to her house because she can't hide from me. Not anymore.

As I knock on the door, there's no answer and I continue. After five minutes and there's still no answer I walk in, and see the house is a mess.

"Spencer?" I called slowly walking in. "You home?"

As I continue to look around the house there's still no answer. There's stuff everywhere, it's like someone robbed this family.

Eventually I find Spencer passed out in the middle of the kitchen on the floor. I quickly grab her and lay her on the couch. After gently shaking her to wake up, she still doesn't but she's breathing.

I started to clean, and found some empty beer and pill bottles. After throwing the bottles away, I lean against the counter and start to silently cry.

I should've been here for her. I can't believe she pushed me away in a time of need. Then again, how long has she been hiding this from me?

After a couple of hours, she woke up an groaned. When she sat up she looked around and saw me. As soon as she did, she looked like she was going to cry.

"You look like crap," I told her pushing the water on the counter in her direction.

"Thanks," Spencer responded as she walked over and drank it.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked my voice cracking.

"Because it's not a big deal," she said looking at her hands.

"Not a big deal? Spencer it's a big freakin deal, got it?!" I yelled.

"Hey, don't yell at me," she said angrily.

"You need I be yelled at! You're doing drugs! Drugs, Spencer! What is wrong with you?"

"Sorry if I'm not reacting the way you want me to! It's hard okay. It's so hard for me, Toby! But you wouldn't get that. And you never will," she said starting to walk away.

"Don't walk away from me!"

"Get out! I don't want you here. Leave okay," she said turning and crying.

"Spence, let me hel-"

"I need time to think for myself. Leave."

"You've had all the time in the world! You've had weeks."

"Toby, please leave," she begged as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"No, you need help-"

"I'm fine. I really don't need help."

"Empty beer and pull bottles say differently."

"When I need help, I'll let someone know."

"S-"

"Get out," she said wiping her eyes. "I'll see you around."

"Fine. Whatever," I replied storming out and slamming the door.
