Pretty Little Liars

Ezra POV

Since Arias family was out of town for a couple weeks, we all staid there to protect each other. None of us let the anyone be alone under any circumstances.

During one of the quiet nights, the guys and I decided that we should have fun, so Caleb brought a guitar and gave it to Emily so she could play a song.

She laughed and began, as the others walked in hearing her. Emily started to sing Arms by Christina Perri (up above & I'm obsessed with this song right now).

I asked Aria to dance with me and surprisingly she did. Caleb and Toby did the same with Hanna and Spencer.

We all peacefully danced to the song, laughing occasionally of what we were doing. When the song finished, Emily began to prepare for another song, when we heard something in the backyard.

Cautiously, all of us walked outside to see what happened. Aria gripped my hand and I squeezed it reassuringly before continuing to look around.

We heard something in the bushes and all immediately looked over there, heads whipping right away. Emily grabbed a pipe and walked ahead of us all to the rustling bush.

A bunny popped out of the bush and we sighed in relief. Walking back inside, I smelt something and looked for the source. Before anyone could comprehend what was happening, smoke started filling the house.

It was so thick no one could see and we all tried to exit the house as fire spread crazy. Sirens were heard outside, and everyone was out but me.

"Ezra!" I heard Aria scream and I tried my best to follow her beautiful, soothing voice to no luck.

It was the last thing I heard before collapsing to the ground as the flames stood around me. I could hardly breathe, smoke filling my lungs.

"Ezra!" I heard again and saw Aria just outside the door during a break in the flames.

"Aria! I love you!" I yelled to her as the flames took over once more.

I heard footsteps rush in and felt water being sprayed all over the place as hands grabbed my arms, leading me to the safety outdoors.

My eyes were closing as I was laid on a gurney, an oxygen mask now on my face. As I was being rolled to the ambulance, I felt someone grip my hand and I look over using what was left of my strength.

"It's going to be okay. You'll be okay," Aria said crying.

I tried to respond, failing and my eyes closed as people began to rush.
