Pretty Little Liars

Toby POV

We all stood back in the yard, watching the house slowly go down in flames as Aria rides in the ambulance with Ezra to the hospital.

I run my hands through my hair in utter shock of the events that've happened tonight. Everyone gets checked out by the medics that remained here, one by one as I stare at the flames that are slowly fading.

Someone grabs my hand, causing me to look over. Spencer then begins to drag me to the medics as they checked up on me. Emily decides to drive to the hospital to wait with Aria as Hanna and Caleb stay secluded by the bushes.

Once they've finished with me, the fire was finally put out and the four of us waited until everyone left to go inside and see the damage.

We hesitantly walked in, and saw that there was practically nothing left in the place. Hanna and Spencer went upstairs to see Arias room-well what was left of it.

Caleb and I look in the closets on the bottom floor, seeing if anything made it, but no surprise, everything was tarnished.

"Toby!" Spencer called from upstairs.

Caleb and I rushed up there to see them staring inside of Aria's closet. We took their place as they moved out of the way to let us see.

In the center was a fireproof box, the only strange thing about it was that it was perfectly placed with burnt things surrounding.

"Aria's never had this," Hanna explained as I knelt down and grabbed it.

"Someone left it here," Caleb concluded.

"Someone was here to place it in the closet as we were outside."

Hanna took it from me then we all walked downstairs to our cars. The four of us decided to drive to the hospital to see how Ezra was doing, planning to figure this case out later.

Arriving to the hospital, Spencer and I walked in, looking for Emily as Caleb and Hanna pulled in after us. We all eventually find Emily, and she leads us to a worried Aria who's staring at a wall.

She looks numb, with the exception of a few tears falling from her face. We all sit by her as she doesn't move or acknowledges that we're here. She put her head on Emily's shoulder as I sat by Spencer.

Spencer begins to nervously play with her hands, so I grab one in mine giving a reassuring squeeze. She smiles thankfully before resting her head on my shoulder.

After a few hours, the doctor finally came out to give us news and Aria was the first out of her seat. He said that Ezra would be okay, but will be asleep for a couple hours.

"Can we see him?" Aria asked gripping her blanket tighter around her body.

"Yes, this way," the doctor said before leading us to his room.

Aria pulled a chair by his bed and grasped his hand gently. Ezra had some burns from the fire but they should heal according to the doctor.

We all found a place to sit and waited for Ezra to wake up.
