Hanna POV

I haven't told anyone about the text I got. It was to scary for me to tell, even my diary. I was probably acting like a baby, but I don't care.

The drive to school was awful. I knew I would have to face my friends and even worse, my boyfriend.

Don't get me wrong, Lucas is amazing and I love him, but once he starts asking questions he doesn't stop. Sometimes it was annoying and today I don't know how it will be.

As I got to school, I quickly grabbed my things and practically ran inside to my locker. People kept looking at me like I was weird, but I don't care.

When I got to my locker I opened it swiftly and a note fell out with my name on it. I picked it up and put it in my bag, before grabbing my books and heading off for class.

As I reached the door, I saw Caleb and I decided to talk to him, before going to class. Right now he is at his locker getting some things.

"Hey, Caleb." I said once I reached him.

"Hey, Hanna. Not to sound rude, but why are you talking to me?" he asked.

"Well, you were by yourself and I wanted to keep you company, until class started."

"Okay?"

"Do you want to have lunch with me today? As friends?"

"Why would I have lunch with you?" he asked.

"Because if you do, you can ask me anything. Or for anything," I say leaning against some lockers.

"Okay, deal. Where do you want to meet up?"

"We can meet up here at your locker, then go wherever you want in the school for lunch."

"Fine, see you then."

"See you then."

I walk away with a small smile on my face. Some people would think I'm cheating, but I'm not. All I'm doing is helping out the new guy.

As I sit down, I notice Lucas and my best friend Mona, walk in the room together. They can't stand each other, so why are they with one another.

Mona sits next to me and Lucas leaves the room giving me more time to be free from his personal quiz show.

"Since when are you and Lucas buddies?" I asked facing her.

"Since you decided to talk to creepy new guys and be their friends, Lucas and I thought it would be good to try to be friends. Now, what happened yesterday?" she asked.

"Nothing. Just a bad day," I say as the teacher walks in.

The first classes of the day went by quickly. I headed towards Caleb's locker and waited for him. Checking the time I noticed lunch was almost over and he still wasn't here.

By the time the bell rang for class, he still wasn't here. I gave up and went to the rest of my classes. I wasn't going to be upset about this. He probably was busy with a teacher or something.

When the day ended, I went to his locker and he was there. I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. As he jumped I laughed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," I said while giggling.

"It's fine."

"So, at lunch today, were you with a teacher?"

"No. You should tell your boyfriend that there is nothing going on between us. Because this morning after the bell rang, he shoved against my locker and told me to stay away from you. That's why I bailed," he responded leaving with me right by his side.

"I will, don't worry. Can we do it tomorrow? Or today? You can come to my house, and we can study, while you ask me stuff," I say getting to my car with Caleb by me.

"Sure. Can I ride with you though?"

"Yes, of course. Get in."

When I was about to get in the car, I saw Lucas fuming. I didn't care and got in with Caleb. He was silent, so I guess he also saw Lucas.

"Maybe I shouldn't go," he said as I started the car.

"Why? Because of Lucas? Don't worry about him. I deal with it," I said as I started to drive away from the school.

"You shouldn't have to deal with it."

"Look, if he's being a jerk, it's not your fault. I promise."

Before he could say anything, my phone started ringing. I looked who it was and it was, speak of the devil, Lucas. I declined the call, but he wouldn't stop. By the time I got home I had, five missed calls and twenty texts.

When we got in the house, I grabbed some snacks and drinks. Caleb just looked around the house speechless.

We started homework soon after, and ate some snacks. After a few minutes of silence, Caleb began asking the questions.

"So, are you a virgin?" he asked looking at me.

"Really? That's the first question?"

All he does is nod.

"Yes. I am a virgin. Next."

"Have you ever been in love?"

"No."

"Really? Does Lucas know that?"

"Yes. He knows I don't love him."

"Tell him that."

"What? Why?"

"Because he's been listening to this conversation the entire time," Caleb said pointing to the door.

Lucas walked in looking mad and heartbroken. I immediately felt bad and walked towards him.

"Hanna, we're done," was all he said before he left my house.
