Caleb called and we all met up at Spencer's house, where Aria was and smacked me.

I deserved it, but everyone was silent as it happened. She staid away from me the rest of the night as Emily came alone, sad.

We began to discuss a plan of who would go and who would stay. Spencer was staying, but we needed someone to watch her.

We suggested Toby, but Spencer declined right away. Then Hanna, but Emily said no to that because she's pissed at all of us.

That doesn't leave a lot of people, so Spencer said she would just come with us. We all turned the idea down, but came to realize that she can't be here alone.

"It's fine," a voice said from the kitchen leaning against the counter. "I'll stay and keep an eye on Spencer."

"Hanna, you don't have to," Emily said.

"It's fine. No matter what you guys are going and Spencer can't, and she can't stay alone. Just go," Hanna replied as we stood.

We all headed for the car, except for Caleb who staid to say something to Hanna. Once Caleb got in the car, I began to drive the four of us towards the lair.

I don't understand why they would want to go back to that hell, but apparently there's something there to help indicate who Charles is.

After a couple of hours, we arrived and I saw the girls in the back sleeping. Caleb and I gently woke them up.

Once they were awake, we grabbed our flashlights and headed into the dark cave. We looked into some rooms, but everything was bare.

It was as if nothing happened here, no one lived here. The four of us split up, Emily with me and Aria with Caleb.

We walked into a room, looking around, when Emily froze I turned and stopped.

She soon recovered and we left. We met up with Caleb and Aria, then left to go home with no result.

In the car, once the girls fell asleep Caleb and I began talking.

"They shouldn't have come," I said staring at the road.

"It was good they did," Caleb replied.

"Did Aria, freeze at any point, like she was trapped in a nightmare or something?"

"Yeah, like she was in her own world."

We staid silent after that and drove back to Spencer's. We all walked in and saw the place trashed.

Spencer was freaking out in the corner, and Hanna was gone.

"Spencer," Aria began. "What happened? Where's Hanna?"

"She's gone. They took her," she said crying.
