Will she hate me? I don't know. There's only one way to find out. I gotta tell her.
But I can't. She deserves to know, and I should tell her. But I can't. I'm to scared that she'll hate me.
"Mr. Fitz?" One of my students asked during class.
"Uh, yes, Mona?"
"Where do we put our tests when we finish?"
"On my desk."
She put it on, and I see a sticky note attached to it. Grabbing it, it reads:
Don't forget tonight. 8' clock. Sharp. He doesn't want to wait to explain what will happen.
When I finish reading it, I look up and nod at Mona, signaling that I'll be there on time.
"Okay, everybody," I start after 45 minutes. "That's time. Please turn your tests in. If you didn't finish you can tomorrow during lunch."
The bell rings shortly after and I collect all the tests on my desk and start grading them.
"Mr. Fitz?" Mona asked staying behind.
"Yes?"
"I think I deserve a good grade, you know because I studied and worked so hard for the test."
"I hope you get one."
"Me to."
She walks out quickly after that confrontation, leaving me to grade most of the papers.
After school, I go to my car to find Aria there. A smile creeps to my face as I walk closer.
"Wanna hangout tonight?" She asked stepping aside so I can out my things in.
"I can't tonight. A bunch of papers to grade."
"I can come help."
"I'm sorry but not tonight. Maybe tomorrow?"
"Yeah. See you tomorrow Mr. Fitz," she said as a teacher walked by.
"See you tomorrow."
As I get into my car, I see a note on the passenger seat. It was about the meeting tonight, which I was nervous about going to.
Lying to Aria about the book is one thing, but not telling her that I'm in a group where we hurt her and her friends, she will never forgive me.
