Hurting Hanna made me hurt. I know it sounds cliche and all, but I actually do like her. She probably thinks I only wanted to hangout with her for money.

She wouldn't even let me explain why I did it. I wouldn't either, but still. If only she let me explain.

Eventually I walked to the park and sat on a bench. As the sun started to set I realized I should find a place to sleep.

When I fell asleep, it wasn't long. Soon I heard someone crying. They got closer and closer and I realized it was Hanna.

"Hanna, are you okay?" I asked getting up, grabbing my stuff, and heading in her direction.

"Just leave me alone, Caleb. I doubt you even care," she said wiping new tears.

"Let me help you."

"You want to help me?! Then go to hell!"

As she walked away, I grabbed her arm and pulled her into a tight hug. She kept crying, soaking my shirt, but I don't care.

"I understand why you hung out with me for the money," she said pulling away.

"That's not why I did it. If you would let me, I would love to explain."

"Okay. Come to my place?"

"Let's go."

The walk to her house was silent, it wasn't awkward just good silence. She grabbed my hand as we headed towards her house and didn't let go.

As we got into her house, she lead me to the couch. She got us some coffee and sat down.

"Why did you do it?" she asked taking a sip of her drink.

"I was going to hang out with you. When you went to class, Lucas did come up to me, but didn't shove me against the lockers. He asked me to go to your house and ask you questions that would get you to answer. He gave me a list of them to ask you. The plan was for him to be listening at the back door while we talked," I said finishing up the confession.

"Thank you. For telling me the truth. And I forgive you, as long as you don't do that again."

"I promise I won't."

"Good."

"Now, why were you crying at the park?"

"Um, my dad was in a car accident. He's still alive, but barely."

"I'm so sorry, Hanna."

"It's fine, but can you stay here for a while? I just need some support right now."

"Of course."

Before I knew it, we were kissing. Soon enough we added tongue and things got a little heated, until we heard Hanna's moms car pull up.

We stopped what we were doing, made a few adjustments, and pretended like all we were doing was talking.

Her mom didn't even look our way, she just went straight upstairs to bed. It was kinda funny.

I wrapped my arm around Hanna and everything felt perfect. Soon enough we both fell asleep.
