They're freaking out, it's noticeable. Once we got Spencer back to bed, the doctor said she should sleep.
The rest of us went into the waiting room and discussed the message on the wall.
I see Hanna is about to lose her mind, so I grab her hand to comfort her and it works. She smiles at me, causing me to smile back.
As Aria and Emily went to the food court for some dinner, I began to let go of Hanna's hand, but she grabs it tighter.
"She'll be okay," I soothed looking at her. "You'll all be okay."
"You don't know that," Hanna said letting go of my hand, running her fingers through her hair.
"Yeah, I do. I won't let you go, I can't live with that again," I replied honestly leaning back in the chair. "It was too hard the first time. I would never live with myself if it happened again."
"I really am sorry about how everything went down," she apologized again.
"It's fine, you need space. I shouldn't have pushed you so hard."
She smiled slightly then leant back in her chair resting. Hanna closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.
Aria and Emily then walked towards us, and sat across.
The three of us began to talk again about the message.
"The paint was fresh," I said. "Whoever put it there, was probably still in the basement. Maybe watching us."
"This has gotten out of control," Aria said.
"It's been out of control since it started," I replied. "This is just another step into insanity."
"Caleb's right. About the fresh paint thing," Emily noted. "What if-"
"There's a hint to Charles lair?" Hanna guessed waking up.
"We were already there," Aria said. "We know where it is.
"Yeah, I know, but what if every answer we needed was there. Remember we weren't where everything Charles had, we were-"
"Only in the rooms," Emily said catching on to Hanna's idea. "Hanna! You're a genius!"
"I am?" She questioned.
"We have to go back. We have to-"
"No," Hanna said. "I'm not going back."
"Hanna, this could-" Emily started.
"No!" Hanna yelled causing some people look our way. "You can go back all you want. But I'm never going back."
"Hanna, you don't have to," I said running her arm.
"You're not going either," she said looking at me. "Promise me you won't."
"I can't promise that," I replied.
She looked at me in disbelief and stormed off. Emily ran after her, leaving me and Aria in silence.
Spencer's doctor came out, and walked towards us. Aria and I stood, meeting him halfway.
"Spencer can go home, but someone has to be with her at all times. So, go get her, but someone has to sign her out," the doctor explained.
"Thank you," I said grabbing the form.
"I'll sign her out, just get her ready to come to my place," Aria said taking the form from me.
"Got it."
I walked to Spencer's room and got her ready to leave. After grabbing her things and helping her into Aria's car, I joined them and we all went to Aria's.
