Pilot 4

STAR Labs Later that Afternoon

"I wasn't the only effected was I?!?!" Barry yelled coming into the Cortex.

"We've been trying to find them if there are others." Wells replied.

"Clyde Martin. He can control the weather."

"Sick." Cisco commented.

"A man died today!" Barry shouted. "We need to find this guy."

"We need to run more tests. You have super speed and you broke your arm that healed in three hours. Inside your body could be answers to scientific breakthroughs. We cannot take the risk!!!" Wells yelled at him.

Barry stormed out of the lab.

Blue Arrow's Lair

Dakota was sitting in front the computer's researching the Arrow. She was trying to find rooftop security cameras in Starling City. Some businesses have them because they have Heli-pads on the rooftops. She split screened all of her computers and sat back, watching the cameras.

One of them shows the Arrow standing on a rooftop talking to Barry.

"I'll be damned." Kota murmured leaning back and crossing her arms.

The Arrow jumped from the building but he had a zip line and he leaned against the next building. Barry took off showing his super speed.

Kota jumped up, "Oh my god!"

Next Day Lunch time

Barry wasn't in the lab at the precinct and he was overdue for lunch. Dakota knew where he was. She grabbed her jacket and headed out into the city. She made her way to STAR Labs and walked in the front door. She headed down the hall and walked into the Cortex.

"You're late for lunch." Kota said crossing her arms.

Barry looked up and his jaw dropped, "How did you get in here?"

"The front door. And we should talk about your super speed." Dakota replied tapping her foot impatiently.

Barry nodded still shocked, "Right. Okay let's go to lunch."

Barry and Dakota walked out of the building.

"How did you find out?" Barry asked as they walked towards a cafe.

"I put the pieces together. I heard what happened with Martin and not to mention your mother's murder." Kota lied; although it makes sense that way too. "You're gonna go after Clyde Martin aren't you?"

"I have to." Barry murmured as the two walked into the cafe.

Kota sighed, "Fine fine."

Barry smiled and grabbed her hand, "I'll be okay. I promise."

"Barry you know I don't like those words." Kota whispered.

Barry put down his menu, "Dakota Miller, I will be okay. I know you don't like the words 'I promise' because of certain reasons but I'll be fine."

Kota blushed, "I shall sleep better now."

Barry chuckled and they ordered their food, "I'm glad we finally did this."

"Me too..." Kota murmurs. "About damn time."
