Barry, Caitlyn, Cisco, and Joe were in the pipeline staring at Eiling.
"What's wrong with him?" Barry asked.
"I pulled a bullet out of his shoulder which is supposed to hurt like hell but he didn't move." Caitlyn said.
Dakota walked into the room wearing a sports bra and her leather jacket. She was clutching her stomach, "What I'd give to see this guy in prison. And now look at him."
"Should you be walking?" Barry rushed over to her and helped her to the cell.
"Probably not. I had to come down and see this for myself." Kota murmured.
"Do you know who I am?" Barry asked.
"Flash." He said.
Dakota stiffened up, "How do you know that?"
"Why did you attack the Central City Gold Reserve?" Joe asked.
"Eiling not here." He replied. "Eiling bad."
"Maybe it's some kind of psychotic break." Caitlyn suggested.
"Caitlyn good." He said.
"Uh thank you?" She shrugged.
"Why is Eiling bad?" Barry asked still holding onto to Dakota.
"Eiling hurt me. I hurt Eiling." He answered.
"If you're not Eiling then who are you?" Kota shifted her position and looked at Eiling.
"I. Am. Grodd." He murmured.
"What is a Grodd?" Joe asked turning to Cisco.
Cortex
"He's a gorilla?" Dakota was sitting in the wheelchair staring up at the monitor.
"Wells and Eiling were working on a project that enhance soldiers' cognitive skills. When Wells found out what horrible projects Eiling was doing he shut down the project." Cisco explained.
"After the particle accelerator exploded I went down to check on him and he was gone." Caitlyn said.
"I saw a gorilla once." Dakota said. "I was at the zoo."
"I remember that day. Fifth grade field trip." Barry smiled at her.
"So what does Grodd want? Revenge?" Kota asked.
"I don't like the idea of Wells rescuing Grodd." Joe added. "We find Grodd. We find Wells."
"We find Eddie." Iris walked into the Cortex. "And I'm gonna help."
"Know anything about gorillas?" Kota said wheeling over to the computers.
Iris sat down and began pulling up articles on the computer, "There have been a number of reports of weird animal activity down in the sewers."
"I'll start there." Barry announced.
"Not alone. I'm coming too." Joe offered.
"As much as I would love to go on a rescue mission I can't." Kota whined.
"Count me out." Cisco grumbled. Dakota glared at him. "Count me in."
Dakota wheeled out of the Cortex and into the training room. She just sat there in front of the mirror staring at herself.
A few minutes went by before she grabbed the arms of the chair and slowly got to her feet. She felt better, renewed, like she could go on that rescue mission.
Dakota took off her jacket and tossed it on the chair. She was slowly unwrapped the gauze around her stomach and was shocked at what she saw.
Her wound was completely healed and all that was left was a soft pink scar.
