They put Barry on the treadmill and he was going on average seven miles per hour.

"He's slow even for a normal person." Cisco commented.

Dakota crossed her arms, "Cisco you better start working on those arrows."

Barry stopped and took a deep breath, "What are you talking about? You can't go against him. It's too dangerous."

"Well currently I'm the best chance you guys have at stopping him." Dakota replied.

"She's right." Wells said.

"The particle accelerator transformed your DNA. How can he untransform it?! That's not even possible!" Caitlyn said.

"The metahuman syphons electricity. We'll need to run tests." Wells added.

Barry stood up, "I have to warn Joe."

"Barry we will find a way to restore your speed. I promise you that." Wells spoke up.

Dakota started to follow Barry out but turned back to Cisco, "Call me when you make progress."

Precinct

Barry and Dakota were sitting at their desks waiting for Joe to say something. Instead he grabbed Barry's mug and dropped it on the ground.

"That was my favorite mug! What part of a metahuman took my speed don't you get?!" Barry hissed.

"I was just checking to see if it's true." Joe replied. "So what do we do if you don't have your speed?"

"The Blue Arrow is going to help us..." Barry murmured.

Dakota face palmed behind Joe.

"Barry you can't trust her." Joe stated.

"Yes I can. She's saved my life numerous times." Barry snapped.

"I trust her." Dakota said. "Look Joe this is gonna happen one way or another."

"Fine." He sighed in defeat. "Don't you two have somewhere to be?"

"Actually I'm going to stay. Cisco said if he'd call me when he made progress on the case. But Barry you should go back." Dakota replied.

Barry stood up and kissed her goodbye, "I'm going, I'm going."

Joe headed back downstairs to leave Dakota in her thoughts.

Time Skip

Dakota was sleeping in her chair when she heard a gun shot. Her eyes snapped open and she rushed to the window by her lab door. A man was holding the entire precinct hostage including Iris.

"Oh no..." She murmured.

Kota ran behind and a locker and sat down behind it. She grabbed her phone and dialed Barry.

"We have a problem. A huge problem." Dakota whispered.

"What's wrong?!" Barry demanded.

"The entire precinct is being held hostage. Iris is here." Dakota murmured.

"What?! Where are you?!" Barry asked.

"I locked myself in the lab. Listen I don't have my suit or my bow and you can't run." Kota said.

"We have a bigger problem. Farooq, the metahuman is here. He wants to talk to Wells." Barry replied.

"Put me on with Cisco." Kota ordered glancing around the locker. Barry handed the phone over. "Cisco pull up the blueprints of the precinct."

Cisco put the phone on speaker and set it on the desk. He started to pull them up, "What am I looking for?"

"Weapons. Rifles actually. Please tell me they're on the same floor." Kota pleaded.

"They are." He replied.

"Ah thank God." Kota sighed in relief.

"Down the hall. Straight ahead." Cisco said.

"You're the best. Put me back on with Barry." Dakota instructed.

Barry took the phone back, "You sure you want to do this? They might suspect you're the Blue Arrow."

"I have to Barry. I'm their only chance." Dakota took a deep breath.

"Be careful." He said.

"I will." Kota smirked and hung up the phone.

She slowly walked over to the door and quietly opened it. She crouched down and started to head down the hall. After a few minutes of slow crawling she made it to the room. Dakota opened the door and headed inside.

Then she heard another gunshot and Iris cried out, "Eddie!"
