Barry and Dakota walked out of the movie theater; Dakota still holding popcorn.

"That movie was really good." Dakota threw a piece of popcorn in her mouth.

"I did good didn't I?" Barry interlocked their fingers.

"Yes you did. Although I was upset about Pete. He was pretty cute." Kota giggled at the thought.

"Cuter than me?" Barry stopped the couple.

"Why? You jealous?" Kota murmured standing on her tip toes.

"Maybe..." Barry kissed her softly, expanding his horizons into the depths of her mouth.

His phone started ringing and Kota pulled away grinning.

"Code 237." Cisco said.

"Public indecency?" Kota raised an eyebrow.

"I meant 239." Cisco corrected.

"Dog leash violation?" Barry answered.

"Bad man. In a get away car. With a gun. Go." Caitlyn cut in.

Barry hung up, "I'll be right back."

He took off blowing Kota's hair in her face.

A minute later he returned, "Wanna grab a bite? I'm a little famished."

"More food?" Kota raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah you know I have to eat a lot." Barry started leading them down the street.

Next Day

Dakota was chilling in the lab at the precinct already with her feet up on the desk and her head back as if she were sleeping. Barry entered with coffee in his hand and Joe right behind him.

"Hey guys." She didn't bother opening her eyes.

"Are you sleeping on the job?" Barry joked tapping her feet.

"We saw a late night movie and I ran out of coffee." Kota put her feet down and opened her eyes.

Joe put a box on Barry's desk, "All the evidence from your mother's murder."

"So you finally came around?" Dakota raised an eyebrow and looked at the box.

"When you told your story I thought it was a kid protecting his father. Now I know you were telling the truth. We're going to go through every piece of evidence again." Joe insisted looking at the white board.

Eddie walked into the room, "We got multiple homicides. Do you know of the Dobinian crime family?"

Dakota stood up and grabbed her jacket, "I do! Let's go!"

Crime Scene

Dakota and Barry were checking out the dead bodies.

Joe came into the room from outside, "Find anything you two?"

"Poison gas." Barry pulled a sheet of a man's body.

"We'll need a lung sample to narrow it down." Dakota continued.

"The door was bolted from the inside. I was thinking that someone pumped it from the inside but witnesses said the street was empty." Eddie told Joe.

"So it was from the inside?" Joe concluded.

Dakota glanced at Barry hoping he was thinking the same thing.

"Eddie can you canvas again? Someone must've seen someone." Joe pleaded.

Eddie sighed and left.

Joe came over, "What are you two thinking?"

"It could have a mind of its own." Dakota suggested shouldering her bag.

"They all landed in different places. That guy had time to fire off three shots before collapsing." Barry pointed out.

"They were all attacked one by one." Kota added looking around the room.
