Next Day
Dakota was hanging out in the Blue Arrow Cave texting Felicity.
Dakota: When can I meet the Arrow?
Felicity: Not up to me. He won't even trust you at first. In fact, he'll even try to get you stop.
Dakota: Haha that's funny.
"I don't like using the cellphone." Ra's said appearing in the room.
Dakota put her phone on the table, "Seriously. How do you get in here?! I have a fingerprint scanner on the door!"
"Your fingerprints are all over the place." Ra's replied. "Come. Show me the city."
"You can't go out like that." Dakota crossed her arms. "People will flip."
Ra's shed his robe and underneath it was almost normal clothes.
"Better." Dakota grinned and led him out the back door. "So why do you wanna see the city?"
"Your training might be more successful if I knew the terrain." Ra's replied.
"Can I tell my boyfriend about you?" Kota asked.
"The Streak?" Ra's raised an eyebrow.
"How did-"
"I know everything. I have eyes everywhere." Ra's said glancing at rooftops. "
Dakota shifted uneasily and Ra's nodded answering her question, "I'll show you the harbor."
Dakota and Ra's walked in silence to the harbor.
"Why the training?" Dakota asked staring at the water.
"You ask a lot of questions." Ra's pointed out. "You might be of some use to me in the future."
Dakota glared at him, "I'm trying to stop killing people."
"Once you let the darkness inside, it doesn't come out." Ra's murmured.
Dakota paused intrigued by what he said, "Come on. Let's go. I need to go to work."
She turned around to face him again but Ra's was already gone. BOOM! Something in the water exploded. A red streak (Barry) was speeding across the water trying to run from the blast. The red streak collapsed on the beach out of breath.
"Barry!" Dakota shouted running to him and helping him up. "You alright?!"
He grunted, "I'm okay...what are you doing here?"
"I was showing the family friend the harbor. How different it is now." Dakota replied. "What happened?"
"Bett. Eiling. Boom." Barry murmured.
"Come on let's go to the precinct." Dakota grabbed her helmet. "I'll meet you there."
Barry nodded and took off.
Dakota spun her motorcycle around and headed towards the precinct. She parked in the garage a few minutes later and ran into the station. Barry was already there on the main floor.
"Check this out." Barry pointed to the TV.
"The explosion in the water was a military training exercise. Nothing more." Eiling said sitting at the ambulance.
"Asshat." Dakota crossed her arms and glared at the TV.
Barry wrapped his arm around her shoulder and leaned into Kota's ear, "What do you say we head back to my place and finish what we started?"
Dakota blushed, "I can't. I have acquired a few wounds running down a lead. He like swords, a lot."
Barry pouted, "We can watch a movie and I can give you a foot massage."
"Deal."
