Iron Heights
Dakota and Barry were in a cell examining particulates.
Joe came in with a log book, "Hey. Half the security cameras were shut down and he somehow vanishes."
Dakota stiffened and looked at Joe who was very uncomfortable, "Joe. Who is he?" He stayed silent and glanced at Barry. "Who's in this cell?"
Cooper's ears perked up as Dakota's tone got more stern.
"Clay Parker...." He murmured.
Dakota leaned back against the wall trying to fight the tears.
Barry realized who he was and continued figuring that was the best thing for her, "Not completely. This is some kind of residual we found in here. It was outside the cell and in the hall. Trail led me all the way outside."
Dakota scooted down to the floor and Cooper rested his head on her knee.
Henry Allen came into the doorway smiling.
"Dad." Barry said going up to him.
Dakota looked up before putting her head in her hands again.
"So word is Parker pulled a Shawshank?" Henry joked and leaned into Barry whispering, "What's wrong with Kota?"
"Parker killed her parents." Barry murmured. "We have no idea how he escaped."
"They won't talk to you. But you'll find it. I know you will." Henry grinned.
"Time to go." The guard said.
"Duty calls." Henry walked away.
Barry turned to Joe, "So my dad happened to stop by?"
"The guard owed me a favor." Joe shrugged.
Dakota stood up with a sudden idea, "I'll meet you guys later. I need to make a call."
FBI Building
Dakota entered the homicide floor of the building and started to look around.
"Can I help you with something?" An agent came up to her with a file in his hand.
"I'm looking for Agent Kinsley." Dakota replied.
"Is this regarding a case?" The agent asked.
"Um...not really. Is there somewhere private we can talk?" Dakota looked around the floor.
He started to lead her towards the conference room, "I'm Agent Matthew Scott. I like your dog by the way." He shut the door and they sat down.
Kota grinned and rubbed Cooper's ears, "Thanks. Have you heard of a man named Clay Parker?"
Matthew froze, "Everyone knows about him. He killed two agents fourteen years ago."
"Those agents were my parents." Dakota murmured shifting uncomfortably.
"Oh my god I'm sorry." Matt replied.
"He escaped from prison last night which makes it the CCPD's jurisdiction. I was just wondering if you guys knew anything as to where he could be." Dakota said.
"I can look into it if you want." He offered.
Dakota stood up and shook his hand, "Thank you."
Jitters
Dakota stood in line waiting for her coffee before sitting down with Barry and Iris.
"Why are you so smiley?" Iris looked at Barry.
Barry glanced at Dakota who just waved him off, "I saw my dad today. No glass. No phone. Joe arranged it."
"Must be nice." Kota muttered taking a sip of her coffee.
"You're investigating the breakout?" Iris asked.
Dakota scoffed, "Don't even get me started."
"This must be really hard for you...." Iris murmured.
Dakota put her coffee down, "I got somewhere to be rather than listening to other people saying how much this actually sucks because no one hates this as much as I do."
