Dakota walked into the Cortex with a t-shirt on and her jacket slung over her shoulder, "Caitlyn...my wound...it healed."

"What?! That's impossible!" She cried out.

Kota lifted up her shirt, "Barry's blood healed me."

"I need to run tests." She insisted getting up from the computer.

"We have more pressing matters to attend to." Dakota snapped.

Cooper nudged her gently.

"I'll be back. I have to talk to someone." Dakota put her jacket on and left the Cortex. She dialed Derek's number, "I'm ready. I feel great now."

"You're not throwing up in your toilet anymore?" Derek joked.

Next to him, Matty slapped his shoulder.

"Come to the building. You can tag along on a case." Derek offered and hung up the phone. 

Time Skip

Dakota walked into the training room to see Barry talking off a head device, "Can you guys build me something so he doesn't get into my head?"

"We can try." Cisco shrugged.

"I'll search every inch of the sewer if I have to." Barry announced.

"Before you do that...can you give us the room? Please." Dakota asked the others and they all left.

"You're on your feet! That's great!" Barry cheered.

Dakota lifted up her shirt to show that it was just a scar, "Your blood healed me. It saved my life."

He froze, "Whoa..."

"Barry...you saved my life..." Kota murmured and kissed him lightly.

"Awesome." He whispered kissing her back.

Kota pulled away reluctantly, "You should go talk to Iris. She looks pissed."

Barry groaned and walked out of the training room.

Time Skip

"It's an anti-telepathic device. Should protect you from Grodd's craziness." Cisco announced.

"Will it work?" Iris asked coming back into the Cortex.

"It'll work." Kota reassured her and herself.

"The tracker just came online. We have the location." Cisco announced.

Barry took off without saying a word, "Alright I'm in position."

"So what's the plan?" Iris asked.

Dakota rubbed her hands together, "Cisco is maneuvering Grodd into a tunnel 5.3 miles away from Barry."

"Why?" Iris raised her brow.

Kota smirked, "Supersonic punch."

"Hit it!" Cisco said into the coms.

"The headset's offline." Caitlyn announced. "It must've impacted something." Suddenly Barry was screeching over the intercom. "Major brain activity. Grodd's attacking him psychically."

"Move." Dakota grabbed the microphone. "Barry. Listen to me. Focus on my voice. Focus on me. Whatever is happening to you. Whatever you're seeing, you have to fight it. I know how you strong you are. I know you can do this. Please. Barry, do it for me."

A few minutes later, "I'm bringing him home."

STAR Labs

"Mr. Allen. Ms. Miller." Eiling said. "When do I get out of here?"

Dakota pressed a button and the doors opened, "This prison is for metahumans. And since Grodd is no longer controlling your brain you're free to go."

"This prison won't be enough one day." Eiling said stepping out.

"Not all metahumans are bad." Barry retorted.

"I know you're the Flash. If I hunted you down I would've done it by now." Eiling said. "If you'll excuse me I have a gorilla to hunt."

Dakota threatened, "You don't wanna do that."
