STAR Labs

Barry was on the ground groaning from the force field when Dakota walked in.

"Probably a bad time. But I guess I should tell you." Kota announced.

Barry stood up, "What?"

"I joined the FBI." Dakota crossed her arms. "It's time I did. I'll be a damn good agent. All of you know that. But for now I have to see a psychologist to make sure I'm not crazy."

Barry hugged her and kissed the top of her head, "About damn time."

Kota chuckled and pulled away, "Is it too late to say this is crazy? I know your plan because I know you. It's crazy."

"Well this time you won't be on a boat kidnapped because of Mardon." Barry pointed out.

They headed towards the Cortex with Joe.

"So I heard you kiboshed Eddie's proposal." Barry murmured.

Dakota raised her eyebrow, "Rude. I'm gonna go get ready."

Time Skip

Dakota came into the Cortex tightening her bowstring.

"Dr. Wells how was the lecture?" Caitlyn anounnced.

"Boring. Tedious." He grumbled. "Going out Dakota?"

She stiffened, "Yeah. I need something to do. I'll see you later."

She slowly walked out of the Cortex and ducked in a corner.

Dakota followed Wells down to the bunker and knelt behind a wooden box besides Barry and Joe.

Joe shook his head, "No it's not an admission."

Kota slowly notched an arrow into her bow and aimed it at Wells' back, "Once we get it..."

"Oh you're smart." Wells stepped through the force field. "Not that smart."

Dakota fired the arrow and Joe fired three bullets. Barry managed to grab the bullets but the arrow already slammed into his chest.

"He didn't confess!" Barry yelled.

Kota checked his pulse and shook her head, "Something's not right." The body shifted into Hannibal Bates. "Now that makes sense."

"I am always one step ahead Flash. Allow me to reintroduce Hannibal Bates who can transform into any person he touches. I knew that ability you come in handy. I didn't expect it so soon." Wells said over the intercom. Dakota reached for another arrow, "Don't bother I'm nowhere near the building."

"You used him! Like you used all of us!" Barry shouted at the ceiling.

"Wasn't hard. Just a simple promise of his freedom." Wells replied easily.

"You ruined my life! All of our lives!" Barry said angrily.

"Oh at least you have a father!" Dakota snapped. "Just confess so Barry can stop complaining!"

"I don't want to kill you Barry. Not yet. I promise you very very soon we will see each other again." Wells clicked off.

Barry whirled on her, "Complaining?! Really?! That's what you think I'm doing?!"

"That's all you've been doing! It's all you ever talk about!" Dakota argued.

"He killed my mother and sent my father to prison!" Barry retorted.

"YEAH! WELL HE HIRED SOMEONE TO KILL MY PARENTS SO SHUT THE HELL UP!" Dakota ran to the garage and tracked Iris's location.

Bridge

Dakota pulled to a stop next to Iris and Eddie. She took off her helmet, "Sorry to break up the party but you really need to get out of here."

"Why?! Why should we trust you?!" Iris demanded.

Dakota yanked down her hood, "Because it's me!!!!!"

The Reverse Flash knocked over Eddie and Dakota. Dakota to her feet and fired an arrow but he caught it. She grabbed her bo staff and snapped it together. Eddie stepped in front of her and the Reverse Flash threw him against the railing.

The Reverse Flash sped to Dakota and grabbed an arrow from her sheath and spun towards Iris.

"Don't." Kota murmured groaning. "Kill me. Kill me instead."

"Dakota. No." Iris pleaded.

The arrow flew through the air and stabbed into Dakota's stomach. She fell to the ground yelping in pain as the Reverse Flash disappeared with Eddie.
